Checked into Crestone to detox and get introduced back into the 12-step program, all the staff here is truly amazing and so kind and thoughtful, I was so well taken care of, from there rooms having movies to really well curated meals and snacks, the staff there truly cares about your well being and hospitality, the bathrooms are very well kept up and sanitary, the nursing staff listened to my every need and the clinical team help give me what I needed to get on track to a great start back into a 12-step program with amazing groups and a wealth of knowledge about recovery, I just can’t thank them enough for my new outlook on life.

Edited to add: if you don’t believe this review I would encourage you to read the review from Dominic, an ex-employee (who was awesome). Ignore the one from Greg and Elizabeth Rolfe, the owner himself and his wife. Further, the vague “please contact us to discuss this further response from the company does not make up for anything. This is a prime example of a business model designed to profit off of a vulnerable population; a “turn and burn” place. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE WHO THE FIVE STAR REVIEWS ARE COMING FROM AND DO RESEARCH BEFORE YOU SEND A LOVED ONE HERE.

Never in my life have I watched as much tv as I did during my stay at Crestone. Most groups seem hastily thrown together last minute (my first group during residential was a game of uno) and randomly chosen Tedx were selected for most psycho education “classes”. As a general rule, drawing or painting were going to be done daily. A week in, I was transferred to Rock Spring behavioral hospital for suicidal ideations/a half-hearted attempt—I was informed I required a higher level of care/supervision. I was transported to Rock Springs by Crestone, only to be left at the front of the facility where I was unattended for 4 hours to come and go as I pleased. So much for requiring more supervision. I had no idea where I was going upon discharge until the last 2 days of my stay, at which point I was permitted to use a phone and computer to scramble to find a sober living for myself and hope they had a vacancy. The therapist I was set up to see as part of my discharge plan did not show up to our appointment and the discharge coordinator never returned my phone call when I reached out to find out if there had been a mistake in scheduling. Persons whom I made sure were not permitted to be involved in my treatment plan whilr there were given updates of my transfer to rock springs, as well as reasons for the transfer itself nonetheless. When I brought up this HIPAA violation to one of the counselors she became irritated and assured me I must be mistaken. Chef Michael deserves a raise for the amazing work he does with a smile every day. I highly encourage the owner to audit some of the classes and see if he would ever send a loved one here himself. Also, fix the damn umbrella outside, it was 110 degrees outside many of the days I was there there with zero shade.

Crestone saved my life!! The staff is exceptional, always smiling and making you feel welcome. Food is fantastic, counselors are always willing to help and you are given time to do all 12 steps if you choose. Also, tv in every room and you have your own room. Can’t thank the staff enough for saving my life.

This establishment is above and beyond any treatment center my family has had experience with. They offered my son healing in ways he's never received at any treatment facility. The staff is truly devoted to their mission, and everyone there shows care and concern. I feel that Crestone offered a structured environment with excellent care from medical and behavioral health staff. We were kept up to date on any and all of my sons progress. Everyone at Crestone was a blessing to our family!

I wanted to say Chloe and Jordan are amazing. My loved one tried staying here, but for unforeseen circumstances, it did not work out that way. My loved one ended up at another treatment center who did not treat him so well. I reached out to Jordon at night asking for assistance. He was quick to respond, more than helpful and willing to help out any way he could. He has gone above and beyond to help my loved one and I appreciate that greatly.

A really great place. The staff are very attentive and caring and work with you to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. They provide authentic and personal care which helps so much in a difficult time. At other places I had felt like just a faceless patient but at Crestone I truly felt they cared; It was humanizing where as at other places i had felt sort of lost in the shuffle. The rooms are very comfortable and clean which helps so
much, and the food is really great as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is struggling and wants supportive, sincere help on their journey.
