My husband and I have been using Creature Comforts Home Veterinary Services for over 25 years. We wouldn’t think of using anyone else with our furry family members. Shauna and her team have been there for the happiest and hardest times with our animals and I always trust that they are receiving the best medical care possible. They are never hurried and always answer every question we have. And believe me, our pets have had complex medical conditions. I value the service we receive from Creature Comforts and I would recommend anyone to them.

This practice is the epitome of insincerity. They come in your home take your money, yet at the end of the day do not really care about your beloved dog. For example They came to my home, treated my Male Shepherd we put ourselves in their hands. We followed everything they said and paid them thousands and thousands of dollars…, we were very close to them over a two month period. They sent more than one vet to the house. I think they have two in their practice… When my beloved dog passed away in my arms during their care, our family did not even receive any type of call, card or anything at all from either of these doctors, expressing their sympathy, or condolences during this time of great sadness and need … Shawna, who is not a doctor tries to compensate , but sadly it falls very short at the end when it appears to me that all they were really looking for was the money. I put myself in their place, and never once would I NOT express sincere condolences, or at least try to call the household for which he was a member…something! Again no call no card… NOTHING!!! So darn insincere! It hurt us greatly!!! AVOID these individuals… put your dog in the car and take them elsewhere!!

I have 5 boxers that have been seen and treated at home from Creature Comforts since they were born. Each visit has been awesome. My dogs get to stay home and have the checkups and vaccines they need then be on their way. No stress for me lugging them to the vet and no stress for them. Creature Comforts team is amazing. I always recommend them and will continue to have them come out to "service" my dogs.

I have 2 cats. Unlike dogs, my cats don’t like riding in cars. They always got stressed out when I drove them to the vet. It upset me from the time I had to squeeze their bodies into the cat carriers, listen to them cry or hyperventilate all the way to the vet, but I rationalized that this is what I had to do for them to see a vet.

I have since learned that there is another way to take care of my cats without putting them or me thru this stress. That is, I can have them treated in the comfort of their own home.
That’s where CREATURE COMFORTS comes in. They are a local company who is easily accessible. They make veterinary house calls, examine and treat my cats in their home, the place where my cats are most comfortable. They are professional and good with my cats. They make it easy for me to get any medicine the cats need. Their price is reasonable and worth the convenience and peace of my mind of treating my cats in their own home.

I feel the need to follow up this review with what I call MY TALE OF TWO TAILS. It goes like this:

Cutie, my 14 year old cat was due for her vaccines and check-up. I contacted Shauna of Creature Comforts to schedule an appointment. She and one of her vets came to my home. The vet did lab work and Shauna notified me when she got the results. The diagnosis was that Cutie had hyperthyroidism, something fairly common with an older cat. However in my mind Cutie was not older and still had much life left to live. Shauna told me about different ways she could be treated. I first tried to give her pills. After accepting that I was not so good at giving a pill to a finicky cat, I asked to try something else which was a medicine in cream form. All I had to do was rub the cream in her cats ears twice a day, much easier than trying to get her to swallow a pill. I dutifully followed those directions. I’m am glad to say that Cutie’s thyroid level has now returned to normal and she is thriving.

My other cat, 16 year old Nala had a mind of her own. When I saw that she was not eating or acting herself, I knew something was wrong with her, so I contacted Shauna.
Again Shauna and one of her vets came to my home on the scheduled date and time. They saw how skinny, dehydrated and weak Nala was. The vet did lab work. When she got the results, it was apparent that Nala was very sick. The vet told me about different possibilities. Wanting to believe it was only an infection, I asked the vet to give Nala an antibiotic. After that, fluid injections, steroids and medicine to stimulate her appetite didn’t work, it became obvious to me that it was something more serious. Drs. Byrne and Headrick were wonderful. They were gentle with Nala and patient with me. They offered me options that guided me, but never pressured me to do anything. On the last day, Dr. Headrick answered my remaining questions. Her answers enabled me to make the best decision for my Nala. She euthanized her in her home where she was most comfortable.

I miss Nala but am at peace knowing I did what was best for her. I am greatful to Shauna of CREATURE COMFORTS, Dr. Byrne and Dr. Headrick for all they did and all of their compassion.

The experience of your vet coming to your home, not only is extremely pratical for us as owners, as it is so much LESS stressful for our furry family members. They are a full service veterinary service and they also have hospital services where they perform all kinds of procedures, like spaying and neutering and many more. It's a real piece of mind not having to carry our fur balls to an office and stress them out. Their rates are affordable and compatible.
