Thank you to Dr Williams helping my pug feel so much better! I don’t think he would have survived with the minimal care he was receiving elsewhere. Dr Williams has so much experience and knowledge and uses several modalities and care plans to support the animals in her care. I will be forever grateful for getting more time with my little guy ?

Following up on a recommendation of Creature Comfort by my neighbor was the best thing for the health and well being of my cats. This practice stands above all others in expertise and integrity. When my cats get seen for their annuals, I am amazed by the amount of time devoted by the doctor to discuss and address any issues. Doctors and nurses follow up after treatments. It's so easy to get an appointment. If my cat has an issue, they often help me resolve it via email or an appointment in very reasonable time. They are totally on top of prescription requests and let me get them filled wherever works best for me. I definitely see the holistic improvement in my cats' health since coming here. I really can't say enough about Creature Comfort and I recommend them with absolute confidence!

Always a good experience here. So thoughtful about the animals' experience. We recently had a scare with our dog's health and she stayed over night for 3 days at the emergency. She was different coming out. So we set up a follow up appointment here and in the parking lot she immediately was shaking with anxiety. Once we were in the room she calmed down quickly and by the end she wasn't nervous at all. I really love the plethora of information and help that they can provide. When you think there are no more answers they have them. A++ from us.

I made the mistake of trusting my holistic vet clinic of over 16 years with what was supposed to be a “ humane euthanasia “. Instead what we experienced was an aggressive and horrific Laboratory Experiment, all carefully crafted by Dr Williams. After all these years, they treated her as if she meant nothing to them.

From the start I thought she was behaving strangely when she had the receptionist email me and tell me that she would be able to “ squeeze me in “ for an 'end of life 'appt. ( we were her last appointment) and then didn’t even come into the room and instead sent the vet tech to ask me some questions. She asked me “ if “ I want Dr Williams to do an exam. I was confused as to why she was trying to not even examine lucy. Doesn’t she need to? What is happening? This was the first red flag and when I should have left, if I was in my right mind. At this point I had not slept in days and felt so defeated and broken. I really needed my vet of over 16 years to be there for us and make sure she made decisions in the best interest of my Lucy. They are training their employees to not care about end of life … “ squeeze you in for euthanizing your baby “

During the exam Williams told me her vet techs are going to give Lucy an IV Catheter. I was upset at this because I had emailed her and she did not mention this to me and I only brought Lucy because I trusted her from having experience with her years prior. I expected the same humane treatment.
I told Williams NO and that I do not want Lucy to be stressed and handled and restrained and stabbed with needles.
Instead of honoring my wishes she decided to lie to me and tell me “ oh you don’t have to worry my techs are pros “.
This is FRAUD, when I told her what I can’t handle and she did it regardless, and she lied to me in order to carry out her process, this is FRAUD.

She also KNEW that it would be a serious struggle to find a vein with Lucy and she still peddled her off to her techs and she did this by entirely skipping the SEDATION PROCESS.
SEDATION is mandatory with every companion animal's end of life appointment. Yet DR Williams felt ENTITLED to skip this humane step all together. Setting up her vet techs to be the ones who suffer emotionally.
Williams passed Lucy off to her 2 vet techs and left the room, behaving like the privileged woman that she is, and never came back in to monitor Lucy or even see if she’s ok. I guess she thought she was being clever, passing Lucy off to her vet techs to struggle with.

My worst nightmare came true and The tech couldn’t find a vein because of Lucy’s skin and health condition along with the fact that Lucy was fully conscious and struggling with being restrained. So repeated attempts had to be made and every time we had to witness our little lucy cry and moan in PAIN from being hurt with the needles felt like someone was stabbing me and my mom in the chest. Repeatedly. I even tried to get up to grab her and they ordered me to sit down. She was so distraught and freaked out, crying and screaming trying to lunge at me and my mom. By the time she was in my arms she was burning up and shivering. She was so hurt and abused and looked at me with her blood red eyes like I had betrayed her, she was so scared she buried her head into my arm.

Lucy had this unusually extra long catheter hanging from her and I was told that I need to make sure it doesn’t pop out. So the few minutes I had with my baby was me making sure the catheter needle stayed in place. Feeling my baby burning up, shaking and freaking out while I was holding her. Watching my mom’s heartbreak, breaking down and crying along with the vet tech who had to do the procedure.

I can’t forgive myself for subjecting my elderly mother to this experience, as she is already traumatized and has ptsd from losing my younger brother and finding his body when he committed suicide. Watching my mom’s heartbreaking as she cried while Lucy was being hurt, I feel like I am responsible for not having the backbone to get up and leave. I was weak and a spineless coward.

As parents of our 7 month cat Tabby, we found the services and staff at Creature Comfort excellent and enjoyable. Dr Harder was very sklled and thorough in her knowedge and examination and Dr. Williams was an expert with the neuter procedure. Reception staff and auxiliary staff were awesome in their help.

This is a great vet. My cat had horrible matting on his sides and belly. They saved these off expertly and without sedation. Cat is much happier now. Kudos to the great staff here!!

I had to wait until my blood stopped boiling before I wrote this review. Yes, my experience was that bad. First of all they do make you pay a non-refundable fee of 250.00. The only way that they will refund it is if you cancel the appointment within 24-48 hours, however they don't have any appointments less than a week or 2 out. That was the first red flag...
Then I arrive at the "holistic" vets office and all I see are shelves of traditional flea meds, you know the toxic ones? I was like, hmmm weird. But, it got so much worse. I went into the office and waited for the vet. My dog is 16 and has dementia so he needed a very through exam. I forgot his booties and the floor is very slippery, so the vet Christine went and got a yoga mat so my dog wouldn't slip. Did she pick him up right away so that he could get to know her? Nope, she just watched him walk around. I was telling her all of the things that he needed, and she stood there "listening" (maybe, she looked lost). After a bit she picked him up and listened to his heart. When I asked her about it, she simply replied that "It wasn't racing" I'm like what? Then she scratched his back and said (mostly to herself) awww he likes that...Again, I'm like duh, what dog wouldn't like being scratched...
That was all she did until I asked her about all of the other things, like taking his temperature, checking out his teeth, looking at his eyes, give us some actual help! She did a couple things and then I asked her about the bump over his eye, she replied that it was probably fluid build up and took him to another room. She came back like 60 seconds later and said that she only got 2 tiny drops out because he was moving! Who takes a dog and puts a needle by their eye ALONE I just couldn't believe that we wasted 250.00 on a vet who seemed so out of it, and had NO idea how to examine a freaking dog! I would recommend that you stay far away from this place. Oh and I specifically told her that the reason we take our dog to holistic vets is that we don't want to put him on drugs that have bad side effects (which is pretty much all of them) and the first page that she gives me is for a drug! She then followed up with 2 things that were natural and that were readily available on Amazon. We told the person who recommended this clinic to us, and their response was that they recently found out how much this clinic has gone downhill.

I am happy to strongly recommend Creature Comfort Holistic to treat my aging Bichon rescue dog. Both Dr. Williams and Dr. Johnson are extremely caring and very good about following up with phone calls and emails to check up on Robbie. The office staff is both helpful and attentive. I tried several vets in the East Bay when I moved here from Los Angeles, and Creature Comfort won my full confidence.
