My dog was taken care with love and respect. He came back home happy and farewelled his caregiver with joy. We got pics with updates, was properly groomed and they got to know him pretty well. They were responsive and flexible. Thanks Joyce and crew for making a great staycation for Romeo.

We always use Country Lane Kennels to board Kion. He’s always eager to go inside and is happy when I pick him up. His bedding got wet due to weather during our recent visit, the staff went above and beyond and washed it for me.

We have been using Country Kennels for a couple of years now. Our 75 lb dog is a bit skittish, but they work really well with him. If I can’t get a hold of them via phone because they are busy with the pups, email is always successful. We had a scheduling mix up this past weekend, (I emailed the wrong date) and they were still very accommodating.

They always let my husband walk our dog to his run and kennel which helps us have a piece of mind.

We have taken our dogs, Stitches and Zeus, to Country Lane Kennels for 11years and our dog, Belle, for 7 years before that. They have always been treated like family and love to see their friends!

I want to let others be aware that in June, I dropped off my dog off to be boarded and groomed for a weekend at Country Lane Kennels.

When I picked her up on that Monday morning, her leg and paw was so badly damaged that she had to be euthanized due to the extensive surgery it would require to just make her a “peg” leg. This broke our family’s heart.

The owner said that they did not do ANYTHING wrong and that WE brought our dog to the kennel limping, the owner was not present when we dropped her off. Our Vet also stated that our dog had never been treated for an injury to her back left leg until this incident.

The owner originally said that she would pay for 1/2 the vet bills but then ghosted me when I emailed and called her with copies of the bills. I then took her and Country Lane Kennels to Small Claims Court.

Unfortunately, due to a technicality the court ruled in her favor due to us signing a clause back in 2016 protecting them from being liable.

The Judge did issue this in his opinion ” ALTHOUGH PLAINTIFF PROVED HIS DOG WAS FATALLY INJURED WHILE IN DEFENDANT'S CUSTODY, HIS FAMILY SIGNED A LIABILITY RELEASE WITH DEFENDANT IN 2016.

I would like to thank the court and let anyone who plans to use any kennel to be careful of what you sign.
