They treated my little Kitty with such kindness and love- I knew she was in good hands when I left. They also gave me a lot of options for treatments offered and helped me make the best decisions. Hello Kitty is recovering well and almost back to normal. She is such a beautiful girl and they all loved her beautiful colors It was a long drive for me, but very scenic.

My dog, Bebe, suddenly developed vestibular disease, which I thought to be the effects of a stroke. I did not know that dogs, because their anatomy differs from that of humans, do not have strokes. Once I got her into the office, a diagnosis was made within a few minutes, a treatment proposed, and today -- one day later -- Bebe is significantly better and looks on the road to recovery. I realize that this disease is quite serious, and that Bebe may never be the dog she used to be, but it is quite amazing to me how quickly the doctor and her assistant got a handle on the situation and gave Bebe a very good chance. I'm very grateful.

I wanted to preface this review by saying this was my own individual experience. She may be a fine vet for others but not for me.
I took my dog in today for anxiety and aggressiveness towards my other dogs. This has been going on for some time and I really feel bad for him and my other babies. I tried to explain what I have tried and even had videos of the situations where he is aggressive (she wasn't interested). We were in the middle of the conversation (I thought we were) when an assistant came in and wanted to see her for a minute. She never came back. Instead an assistant came in with a page full of things they could sell me. I really wanted to try medication at this point but the doctor barely addressed it and the assistant said I would need to get over $400 worth of blood work to see if he COULD take medication. I was so surprised that the doctor never came back to finish. It was pretty much see if this lady wants all these overpriced tests and other things or get her out. Next.
I was in tears and paid my 75 dollars for my 10 minutes and left.
She ignored what I had already tried and had no interest in trying to learn more. I'm usually to the point so it was not a lot of unnecessary talking to take up her time.
I felt bad mainly that I was in the same situation when I left as when I got there. Just 75 dollars lighter.
My advice is listen to the client-they know their pet. Listening helps you better understand what can be done.
Don't be rude. Leaving the room and not coming back is unacceptable.
Since you seem to be in the selling business-always provide value before swooping in with the $1000 list of things to buy.
If you have so many patients you don't need to provide value then quit taking new ones.
If you really care about pets, show it.

I live in Yuba City, and I drive all the way up to Oregon House to bring my cat Bella to these guys. She's extremely shy of people but the team at Country Corner have kept her calm and safe each time we've gone in. Thank you Country Corner, you are well worth the drive for us

Worthless. I called to ask some basic questions about my concerns about one of my dogs since the vets in my area are both closed today (saturday). The woman I spoke to couldn't (wouldn't) even answer basic questions over the phone. She kept asking stupid questions that weren't related to my concerns, and she basically accused me of seeking a diagnosis over the phone... which I clearly wasn't. By the way, this isn't an issue unique to this vet... many vet secretaries are exactly like this. They're trained to squeeze money out of you. They're like attorneys. I wasn't asking for free vet care... I guess I was just foolish to think a veterinarian might have a heart for animals and possibly some knowledge about health concerns. I guess most people think vet behavior communicated that they are valuable and hold valuable knowledge ($$$), but I interpret their behavior as meaning I ought to continue educating myself with the help of the internet, and I ought to simply trust my "self" and intuition ? Had I blindly trusted vets and abandoned my intuition and autodidactism, one of my pups would still unnecessarily be on medication for "valley fever". Question everything and trust your gut. Well, learn to discern "gut"/intuition from other influences. The "gut"/intuition is never wrong.
