I love this vet. They provide quality care for modest prices. They’ve assisted me with my cat numerous times as he’s an odd case. Lovely staff all around. Except for one front desk girl whose name I always forget to get. She’s very rude and makes the trip miserable sometimes. You’ll know the difference instantly when she answers the phones or assists you compared to everyone else. Hopefully she perks up soon. Other than her, 10/10 service.

These people are incredible! The doctors are so gentle and loving. My dog loves everyone who works here and let's them do anything to her. At home she won't even let us cut her nails lol. Thank you for always taking care of my baby. ?

The vets at Country Animal Care are THE BEST! I am so thankful for them because you can really feel everyone who works there genuinely cares about animals and their well-being. Extremely fair prices and excellent examinations. My cats thank the staff for being awesome !!

We have a really high strung reactive dog. The vet and nurses there were so sweet and understanding. They didn’t look down on us. They came into the waiting room and sat on the floor. We held our Wally while they gave the shots. We explained that we’ve spent hundreds of dollars on training but to no avail. They couldn’t have been sweeter.
I’m so grateful for this office. ❤️

This place was cool , the young lady at the front desk listen to our consents very attentive: we went there ofcouse because of their reviews . But unfortunately, I had a bad emergency and I couldn’t wait two weeks so I had to go elsewhere, but I would definitely consider them for the future. Thank you.

My dog had a bad rash on her stomach and she has been a client for many many years. I called the vet to see if they can see her and the receptionist told me they are overbooked and so I’d have to pay $150 for an emergency visit, she also told me I’d have to wait two or three weeks before I can get a regular appointment. They told me they are overwhelmed when I called back and they could not see the dog today. She scheduled me for a later appointment during the week but told me they are overwhelmed. They need to think about having more hours available for clients if that is the case, they need to hire an intern or an extra vet and add more hours in on Saturdays to accommodate clients, not tell clients they are overwhelmed so your poor Pet will just have to wait for treatment.

As a follow up, I just received a letter from Country Animal Care’s Paul Mickelson, DMV saying he no longer wants to provide services to my pet. Instead of being professional and being receptive to constructive criticism and reviewing his staff and their procedures and apologizing to me he turns my pet away from sevice. This is highly unprofessional. I am a highly educated professional with multiple degrees in business, education, and medicine from UCSD. I worked as a dean of a medical college and always taught my students to be receptive to constructive criticism. It helps you improve your business and your services. They should not be in business if they’re going to treat Animals and clients like this. I guess being so “overwhelmed ” they are happy to care for one less pet.

My cat that was given 6 months to live lasted almost 4 good years under Dr Mikelson’s care. He was able to diagnose my dog’s illness after three other vets were stumped and recommended euthanasia. My current rescue cat’s many health issues are being managed wonderfully and her quality of life is excellent. Highly recommend Mikelson and his staff, they listen and truly care about animals.

i had a greatest experience with this vet, all the staff were very friendly and were very kind to my cat. my cat needed to be spayed and they were able to get me in 3 days after her first appointment which was much quicker than anywhere else in my area! the pricing was very reasonable and they didnt pay any extra for cats being in heat. overall it was a very welcoming and easy experience id recommend this vet to anyone
