My previous vet missed early signs of a serious disease in my senior dog. The people at Colonial immediately recognized the signs and started tests. They saved my boy's life and continue to be kind and amazing at every follow up visit. It's the only vet he's ever been happy to arrive to and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Dr. Kirkendall is wonderful. She is very compassionate and kind. Staff is also very friendly. They are very considerate of your time as well. Thank you for caring for our macaw, Yale!

This office is very friendly and kind and always willing to try to get you in ASAP. Both times we have been there the office staff and the clinical staff have been kind compassionate and they explain everything thoroughly. On my first visit unfortunately I had to put my 16 year old chihuahua down and the team gave me so much support and they were so loving and compassionate to myself and my pet. On a recent visit with our 2 year old cavapoo they reassured me, thoroughly explained things and again gave the best care to me and my pet getting me in the same day as my concerns. They truly care about pets and it shows they get down and love on them they cuddle them and they also support pet parents. I am greatly appreciative of their office. Thank you all!

Colonial Terrace was quick to answer my call after hours and had a vet available to speak to immediately. They were able to see me first thing in the morning and were able to put my mind at ease. They were thorough with their work and kind when I needed it. They've always been patient and understanding at each and every visit; from emergency care, routine screenings, to our final good byes. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies.

The entire team is awesome especially Dr. Katie. Our Wheaten is a challenge he loves Dr. Katie and the entire team. It is so great that a couple members of the team have Soft Coated Wheatens so they understand them & know how to handle them. I rate them all 5 plus!!!

My son, whom is a Senior at UW Platteville, brought his 1 -2 yr old cat in on Sunday as he was not doing well and exhibiting symptoms of crystals in his ureter . My son, being a student called me, his mother and asked what he should do if he should bring him to Madison and where to go. Based off the " raving" reviews of Colonial Terrace , I sent him the number to call them and get rough quote as it was less than a half hour. The cat was in so much pain, my son only had time to take him one place to race against time of not having to put his beloved cat down, so it was either there at colonial or drive an hour home. When my son called Colonial Terrace, the person on the phone quoted a rough $1200. So my son came there , feeling positive he was going to bring his cat home. Upon his arrival, the doctor would not give the poor cat any pain meds, or even iv fluids or asses him. The Doctor, instantly jumped into price stating it was going to be $3200 DOLLARS and discussing loan options and put his poor cat under a heat lamp until my son could figure out if he could come up with the funds. Oh and the payments of that $3200 was going to be $417 PER months !! This was a TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH!! This clinic is just out for money and does not even care about animals . I don't believe a single review . I will be calling around to multiple lawyers to see what our rights are as he went home without a cat yesterday 2/9. I believe this was some sort of negligence and/or malpractice. Shame on this clinic!!!! I definitely do not recommend the emergency clinic!

I am truly grateful for the staff at Colonial Terrace, they went above and beyond on every aspect of my after hours appointment, They absolutely do care about your pet and will take every measure to make sure you and your pet are comfortable! I unfortunately had to put my cat down but they were there for me every step of the way, and made sure I was informed on what was going on, while allowing me time to say goodbye! I appreciate all their kindness.
