Dr. Daters and the whole staff were unbelievably kind & thorough treating me & my very ill cat. Dr. Daters continued to give him chemo & support him when he thought there was still quality of life, but also gently guided me through the next stage, when it was time to transition. He was honest and kind in equal measure. I had been going a large & impersonal practice in another city & I was so grateful that my beloved cat could end up here.

My cat Cloud had a type of lymphoma and Dr. Daters and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful in trying to get Cloud into remission. They are honest, knowledgeable and will do everything they can to ensure your fur baby is comfortable.

Dr. Feldhaeusser Is the quintessence of what it means to be a Doctor. Not only providing detailed breakdowns of what was going on, but wasn’t trying to sell me on anything I didn’t need. Her staff were phenomenal to deal with, my dogs last visit for chemo they even all came out to wish him well. What a fantastic group of people. 10 stars if I could.

Dr. Daters and his staff are amazing. When my girl was diagnosed with an Extraskeletal Osteosarcoma 2 years ago, my heart sunk. My vet referred us to CVO right away. I was expecting the worst. Dr. Daters examined her, did tests/bloodwork, and laid out a realistic treatment plan based on her diagnosis. They did not push and just allowed me to decide the best options going forward. I just didn't and don't want her to suffer as much as I knew I would miss her. I am happy to report that a year and a half out from the last chemo treatment, she is doing well. She will be 14 on her next birthday. Thank you Dr. Daters and Frank (front desk nurse) for all that you have done for us. It means more than you can ever know.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Daters and the staff at Coastal Veterinary Oncology. They were a true source of comfort during an incredibly tough time for our family. We are eternally grateful for all of their help with treating Buddy and giving him the best life possible. Thank you all for everything! Highly recommend them for their professionalism, thoroughness, but most of all compassion and empathy!

My Fiancée and I were visiting Savannah for a month from Florida and called to make an appointment to have out cat, Sally's, chemotherapy treatment while we were in town. From start to finish the staff we extremely efficient and friendly. Kathy booked our appointment and was diligent in her communications to obtain Sally's medical records from our Florida clinic, who had been less than forthcoming with the information. When Sally and I arrived for her treatment, it was right on time. They took Sally back and assessed her, after which I was so pleasantly surprised that Dr. Daters came out to my car (COVID protocols) and spent 30 minutes explaining Sally's diagnosis, previous surgery, current treatment as well as prognosis and best options going forward. Neither the GP where Sally received her lumpectomy, nor the first oncologist we visited in Florida had take the time to do this, and it was the first time I truly understood what had happened to date and the best course of action going forward. Dr. Daters helped us to smoothly transition Sally's treatment upon arriving back in Florida. From my experience this is an very well run practice with an extremely kind and proficient team of professionals. I so wish they were in Florida and that we could continue Sally's treatment with them, however, I feel extremely lucky to have had the benefit of their care. I believe that Dr. Daters has changed the trajectory of Sally's care and we can't thank you enough! Edward, Kelsey and Sally ?

Between Coastal Veterinary Oncology, Savannah Emergency Veterinary Clinic, and BluePearl Veterinary Surgery (all in the same building) they saved our boy's life. We will be forever grateful for the caring and skillful staff.

We’ve had a string of bad luck with a few of our animals and their health. The entire staff at Coastal Vet Oncology has given my family several more healthy and happy years with our fur babies. I am forever grateful for their kindness and dedication.
