This place just lost my business. My female Mal tore off her nail playing. Called and got same day appt only not to be seen. Had another appt which I stated over phone. Tech was rude. Sad I wonder if the Dr. knows what’s going on? Receptionist has nerve to ask me if I wanna reschedule! No thanks I’ll find someone else to see my dog that left in pain! Smh!

I’m so happy I found Clovis pet hospital! It’s very clean, everyone is so nice, and the doctors are very knowledgeable. When I first took my puppy, the doctor educated me on all the different vaccines available, but was never pressured into getting all of them for my puppy. Only the ones he really needed. I’ve noticed how all the individuals who work there seem to really love their job taking care of all the fur babies. The love they show to all the animals that come through the door is very heartwarming. Although Clovis Pet hospital is an hour away from my home, I will continue taking my fur babies there. The care is unmatched and the drive is worth it!

We took our new puppy to see Dr. Gill and we were so impressed!
He explained everything he was looking for on her during his exam. He even offered to let my 3 year old son use his stethoscope to listen to our puppy’s heart.
It was so helpful that he was knowledgeable on the breed of puppy we have. (Belgian Malinois) he gave us tons of advice.
We were informed of any reactions our puppy may have to medication and what to look for.
He had great bedside manner.
The front office staff was also great. The tech we had (I believe her name was Jasmine) was great as well! Really enjoyed chatting with her!
Overall a great experience. It’s far from us, but definitely worth it! We also felt the pricing was extremely reasonable!

Great place and great service. They were able to see my pup the following day of me calling.

Front staff was inviting and polite. Vet techs were very informative. Vet doc was nice and relatable and explained the situation well.

Now of course all this comes at a premium. They aren't overly expensive compared to some other places, but with the mindset that pets are expensive, prices are justifiable.

Highly recommend!

I had a new kitten that I brought home with pink eye so I brought her in to see Dr. Dylan and he empirically gave me medicine to give her for a week on 5/1/2024. Her eye cleared up, but she was still sneezing and had watery discharge from her nose. My other cat ended up getting it and having the same symptoms so I brought him in to see Dr. Gill 7/30/2024. He also empirically gave me medicine for a couple of weeks and this cat also did not get completely better. So after doing my own research I came to realize that what we were dealing with was definitely Chlamydia Felis. It was completely textbook for signs and symptoms, yet the doctors refused to acknowledge it or treat it as such without testing when I asked. I knew that for the cats to get better they would need 4-8 weeks of medicine per medical studies. So the only way to convince them to treat it accordingly meant I had to bring one of the cats in for a PCR testing on 9/11/2024. So here I am about a thousand dollars in already and the result finally comes back. It’s Chlamydia Felis and Bordatella. So instead of giving my animals the full treatment, 4-8 weeks of medications they insist on me calling in every other week and requesting refills, which took about three days to do. (Luckily both diseases required the same treatment) So sometimes I would run out of the meds before I could get the next ones, which was already setting us up for another treatment failure. Then, finally after doing this for 6 weeks with missing a few doses because of their slow refill system my older cat is still not completely better and the kitten’s nose is still running when she gets excited, which I’m not sure is normal or not. I also was concerned about the dose as all the medical advice I’ve read says treat with 10mg per day. I was given 0.4 mg for the young cat and 0.5mg for the older cat. So I call into the secretary and explain my dismay with this whole process and say that obviously my older cat still needs more treatment. I also ask her to ask the doctors about the dosage because it doesn’t seem right and if the runny nose on excitement is normal and if I should keep treating the kitten too because you’re supposed to treat all cats in the house. The secretary passes the info to the doctors (who refuse to collaborate on the issue) and their response is keep the older one on medication, and bring the other one in for an exam. So instead of simply answering my questions Dr. Dylan wants yet another exam and Dr. Gill say’s continue the medication. Both doctors refuse to comment on the dose. Then after having to send my response back through the secretary (which was the way I had to correspond with the doctors because they would not talk to me themselves) that I just wanted a few simple questions answered, both Doctors come back with bring them both in for exams and more testing, and that they’re refusing continued treatment until I do. This seems completely unreasonable because we already know what is wrong with the cats and we already know that this disease often takes a while to treat. Plus the dose they’re giving is minuscule compared to the recommended amount. So now it’s obvious to me these “doctors” were just giving me the run around and setting me up for treatment to fail so I would have to keep coming back and spending exorbitant amounts of money all while not getting my cats better. The diagnosis is there and the treatment is simple, but they had to make this extremely difficult for me and my pets. In my experience they’re not running a legit business, they’re completely unethical and fraudulent and they should have their license to operate taken away. Now I have to go to another vet and go through this whole process all over again just so I can get my animals the proper treatment and get them better. In the meantime it’s likely that the disease could have developed a resistance to antibiotics. It also puts my family and I had higher risk of contracting it from them. I am absolutely disgusted with these two doctors that call themselves “veterinarians”.

Dr Dylan saw my dog Trixie and spent time to explain her condition and was very professional. He referred me to Blue Pearl Monterey so my pup could see a cardiologist. BP and Clovis pet were and are a great place to take your pets

I came in and they were very welcoming eventhough it says right in their door "No walkins".

They were able to check my dog and run some labs as well as X- ray.

It turns out my dog has mammary tumors and the surgery is riughly $1500 (spay+tumor removal) for 1 side, and depending on the labs of the tumor about $800 for the other side after 2 weeks of recovery.

The one thing I did not like is that the doctor didn't ask if I had any questions, nor he mentioned the severity of the tumos.

When we walk out they asked to schedule the surgery, however we didn't get the labs nor did we review them to check the magnitude if the problem.

I think they could've done a better job explaining things to us since this was our first time taking our dog to them and they knew this, so maybe take the time to get our business?.

While we were there, we saw many dogs and cats come in. They are very good at what they do, but they should differentiate first timers vs regulars so that we feel comfortable coming back.

I will definitely will bring my dog here if needed as they were flexible to accomodate us eventhough we didn't have an appointment.

On the other side. they have that sign asking for respect when people lose their loved oned and we actually saw a family sad because they had to put their pet to sleep, it is really sad, a reality for all of us and I will applaude them for recognizing this moment.
