My kitty, Calypso, always had wonderful care with everyone at Claremont. The front desk staff is efficient and pleasant. The techs are caring and gracious. The doctors who saw Calypso, Leggeri and McDonald, are informative, thorough and communicative. However, my most recent need was euthanizing my dear sweet friend. It followed a month of exploration into what was wrong, referring me to an outside vet for confirmation and discussion so that I was able to make the decision to go the palliative care/end of life route that was best for Calypso. When the time came to let Calypso go, the Claremont front desk was so kind. The tech was so gentle. Dr. McDonald was professional yet understanding, tender and compassionate, letting me know exactly what she was about to do on each step. The empathy from all was not sappy but distinct. I was given as much private time with Calypso as I needed during the various stages of the process. It was awful to lose my beloved sweetheart but I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me help Calypso move onto her next journey. From the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank you all enough.

We just started going to this vet and were STUNNED at how amazing the experience was. The front desk staff were extremely polite and friendly. Our vet tech took extra time to make sure our dog felt comfortable with them and to genuinely connect with her. The tech also asked incredibly thorough questions about her medical history and background. The vet, Dr. Kapoor, came in and was very kind and transparent about our dog’s medical condition and what they recommended and gave us a TON of resources to help us out managing her condition. The care and concern across the board was amazing. The appointment deposit also went towards the total cost of the appt plus meds. We have never had this happen before, and because of it, we only owed about 40 bucks with all said and done. We burst out laughing at the tech at end because we didn’t know what to say about the cost and the overall experience being so awesome. 10/10 would recommend other pet families to come here!!

I've been taking my dogs to Claremont Veterinary Hospital for over 21 years. I was so happy when I heard Dr. Leggieri had purchased the practice a few years back. I know Dr. Leggieri from her volunteer work rescue organizations and know her to be kind, compassionate and reasonable. My dog Bosco gets excited to see her even though he does not like the visits. The staff is efficient and helpful. Your pet is as special to them as to you.

Received outstanding care and services from Dr. Leggieri and her staff when our elderly dog presented with an urgent health issue. Claremont Vet accommodated our pet's urgent need despite their full appt schedule, saving us much anxiety. We highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for compassionate, responsive and expert veterinary services, on a continuing client basis.

Have been pleased with the service I have gotten at Claremont Vet. Have seen Drs. Leggieri and McDonald and have liked both. Dr. Leggieri worked tirelessly on horrific dental problems with my rescue over the last several years. The vet techs and the staff at the front desk/on the phone are pleasant. They try to get you in to see a vet same day if the dog has an urgent issue. I haven't heard any complaints from the dog except that he would like to have a few more teeth.

Dr. Kapoor has been completely wonderful for us and our cat! We’ve been seeing him for veterinary care for a few years, but only recently needed more extensive treatment. He took the time to explain what he was seeing and why it was concerning, and made it clear the decision would be up to us on how to proceed without pressure. He’s also extremely gentle with our cat who always looks at ease around him. The front desk and vet tech staff (Myriah, Daisy to name a couple) are always kind which is a comfort in stressful situations.
