I’m from out of state here in your beautiful city for the races. Staying at the pole position RV park. Fireworks an open door and suddenly a missing dog. Looked all night could not find her. Went to the animal shelter in Bristol TN. What a kind friendly and helpful team member. Posted my dogs picture on your Facebook page and I had my dog back within 2 hours. Thank you everyone who found her and kept her safe and those who helped me find her. Great people here. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart.

Found my dog here on Monday evening. They told me I could pick her up on Thursday. Tuesday evening called and said if I didn't leave work and come get her they would take her to sullivan Co. & it would be 115$ more. Officer Parr flat out lied to my face. They could care less about the animals. Typical Bristol police trash

You know it’d be nice if you had people who worked for animal control that actually CARES about animals. My friends just recently called because there was 2 SKINNY malnourished young puppy’s that jumped there fenced and just wanted to be loved and fed. They can not keep them, not allowed to have dogs, therefore it’s only humane to feed them and try and keep them warm. Especially when they’re that young, instead they were told they may be charged with abandonment and responsible for medical bills ? lol wow y’all never wanna help, always given the run around, someone else should take over this “business”

Me and a friend of mine tried contacting them several times to get a dog and we filled out the application and they totally just ignored it! Absolutely ridiculous for a shelter to not respond to a wonderful pet home!
