I had an emergency with my pup today, my normal vet wouldn’t fit me in. Stevie answered the phone, and I explained to her the situation. I was given an immediate appointment. (Thank you Stevie) When I arrived at the office Jess, took us right into a patient room. Jess was very kind and compassionate through the entire process, she was the tech that stayed with our pup through the entire visit. We felt very blessed she was our tech. Dr. Shaw was very compassionate & thorough, he explained in detail everything that was going on with our pup. Professional vet service that you can count on when you need it. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Movie my little dachshund needed an ASAP visit. Got in quick and they made recommendations not demands. My other vet I always walked out paying hundreds for each visit.$50 bucks and great advice

Dr. Shaw was phenomenal! Educated, articulate and knowledgeable. He loves animals and that always makes the scare feel easier. The price was affordable. I recommend him for all your Frenchie needs!

I wouldn’t have my little Lilly if it wasn’t for Dr Shaw and his amazing staff! Monday started off with a very sick little Kitty. We took her to our local vet and they couldn’t see her. I tried everything as I had a feeling she wasn’t going to make it if she didn’t get help soon. I tried calling every vet office around and no one could see her until I called Choice Veterinary Clinic in Punta Gorda. This was a half hour drive but her only chance. So glad we did. Dr Shaw was guarded but realized when he saw her she wouldn’t survive if we didn’t do something immediately. I left my tiny little fur baby there in his hands and he promised to call with an update after getting labs and fluids started. We got a call with news that her WBC were extremely high and they were giving 2 antibiotics along with the fluids. The prognosis was still guarded but the staff was amazing at keeping us updated and Dr Shaw called himself to go over a plan of care and our choices. We agreed it best to remain there to keep getting fluids, antibiotics, and some nutritional support. They called after closing and gave me positive but guarded news and called first thing this morning. They were planning on repeating her labs later and decide if she was strong enough to come home. She was starting to act more responsive and alert. This afternoon I got the best call. She was eating some and her lab work was in normal range and we could pick her up at closing Today, just about 30 hours later! We got greeted by a very happy staff! They took such great care and made sure we had all we needed and explained her continued cares needed at home. Tonight she ate for us and took her nutritional supplement. Rolled on the floor and purred like her normal self. She had a lot of lap time too. We just want to Thank Dr Shaw and his caring staff for saving our little girl and her sister was glad to see her back home too!

I just want to say that they are a wonderful veterinarian clinic. They are very good at their jobs, they are very fair on their prices, they will see you very quickly if needed, and show respect and compassion to you and your fur babies. I used to go to another place I will not mention any names but if there was a problem and you needed to be seen you would have to wait in for 2-4 hours or longer in there waiting area. This place will see you that day with an appointment so no need to wait there. My old girl was in a lot of pain and we didn’t want her to have to go through anything else. The pain medication was no longer working for her and she wasn’t eating even with medication to make her hungry. They came to my house to give her home euthanasia so she would pass comfortable in her own bed. They were really so caring that it was really helpful to us in our time of need. My father was in the hospital going for surgery to remove his kidney the next morning being diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and we were all just so emotional with so many things hitting us at 1 time. This has probably been the worst year of our lives with so many losses this year. I just wanted to let everyone know how much we really appreciated their support and care. We will definitely continue to use their services for our other pets.

Top tier service and staff. Appreciate the flexibility of working with our dogs during the reproductive stage to the birthing process. Couldn’t ask for a better hospital team to take care of my dogs. Dr. Shaw, Jess, and the rest of the team were all so accommodating and reassuring. Made the process much easier.
