From the moment I made initial contact with Chase City Health and Rehab for my father-in-laws care to the moment he was discharged, we had a fantastic experience. The admissions staff was helpful and accommodating with his intake (even working us in after hours) and the nursing staff treated him like family. His PT and OT were great about giving us updates and answering all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this facility for rehabilitative care for a loved one.

I toured Chase city health and rehab when considering moving my 88 year old mother with late stage dementia a few months ago. Melissa the social worker listened to me and my concerns for my mother i was very emotional on this day and she was so very kind and compassionate. On my tour she showed me the entire facility and I was very pleased with everything I saw and everyone I met was very kind to me. I believe my mom would have been very well cared for at this facility but for my family we decided to keep her where she was at clarksville health and rehab because our goal was to have her back to South Boston Health and Rehab when they opened back up due to the fire. So she could be just minutes away from us.

It has been one year since my mom became a resident in the Garden at Chase CIty Health & Rehab Center. About six months ago, my step father moved into the facility as well. The care they both receive is second to none. My mom suffers from dementia and requires constant supervision. The nurses and CNAs not only tend to her physical needs, but also do everything possible to comfort and assure her. Both of my parents enjoy playing Bingo and participating in the activities at the facility. They have also been taken on outings, such as fishing trips, on multiple occasions. I am frequently contacted and made aware of any type of change to their medical conditions and care. In addition to caring for my parents, the staff has been so very helpful and accomodating to our family. Caitlin made the admission process as smooth as possible and provided support during that difficult time. I was always able to get in contact with her when necessary. Candi, the business office manager, has assisted me on multiple occasions. She has provided guidance and helped me navigate some very difficult, complex situations related to insurance coverage. I can always depend on Candi to go above and beyond for my parents and our family! I am so very thankful for this facility and the amazing staff. We are blessed to have Chase City Health & Rehab Center in Mecklenburg County!

I would like to thank all the employees who have cared for my loved one over the last few years here. Not only was he treated well, but so was my family. Everyone we encountered were so kind and accommodating to our needs. They went above and beyond to help us through the process of getting my uncle approved through his insurance, they worked with us to make his holidays and special occasions memorable, they stayed in contact with us about his health and needs, they treated him like family, ensuring that he was always clean, well groomed, and comfortable, and they guided us through the end stages of his life. I can go on and on. Though my uncle recently passed away, I will never forget this experience or the kindness we were shown. I can't express how much I appreciate the service at Chase City rehab I tell you when I say my husband had falling due to his Parkinson I feared for his safety at home so working with his VCU Dr and Chase City staff are awesome from the precious intake process and each CNA that work with my husband the physical therapy the occupation therapy my husband have his balance in less than 3 weeks

I could not be more pleased with my Mom's transition from Assisted Living to CCH&R.

From the beginning, admissions helped us navigate the transition, finding a room for her within days.
The care givers, nursing staff, rehab providers quickly assessed my Mom's needs and made her feel important, comfortable and part of their community.

CCH&R led the family thru the financial needs patiently and compassionately.

After 2 months, my Mom loves it there. She praises the care, the staff, the food, the residents, the views from her room, the cleanliness of her room and the list of a happy Mom goes on.

Clean facility, friendly staff, decent food options, and no clothes have been "lost" as of yet. Two serious issues between diabetic foot care and insurance, which are still an issue. Otherwise, issues get addressed immediately. The CNA's and nurses are so extra caring.
