I'm a [ former ] student at Charles Patterson middle school, and I loved it. It really was the best school; great spirit, social events, active staff.. it was by far the best experience I have probably ever had. The teachers hold you accountable for your work yet still make learning fun, in a way. If you're looking for a school for your children, I totally recommend this one.

i went there for sixth grade and moved near the end of the school year. it was the best school ive ever been to! i wish i can move back and finish the 7th grade year there with my friends. this school makes learning fun, they allow us students to use our phones and computers to help us with our work or even better to play on during our free time. if you have problems with bullying, they will help you with that, also its ok to be a new student cause some kids parents or family is in the military or something like that. so if you want a good education but not be bored in school i recommend this school. also theres quite a few drama and fights but if you dont really mess with it or get into it you have nothing to worry about. ps its kinda easy to make friends ( in my opinion, i dont know about other students). so if youre not good at making friends, im pretty sure someone will walk up to and say something then boom u have your first friend lol. i also struggled in math and my math teach for the sixth grade ( Mr. Edwards) helped me get better and when i had low grades in his class, he would always try to help me or other students bring up our grade. his math class was my favorite class, i had him for 2 periods (7th and 8th). he made learning fun by playing games that something to do with math, having parties when were good or did something we needed to do, races to have parties, and more! they also have other activities for us to do like choir, band, theater arts, dance, cheer, step team, and a few clubs. gym is really fun to! they teach you how to play a sport and sometimes we get to go outside and walk around our football field with our friends and listen to our music. other days we would have free choice or go into the weight room. after school if u cant ride the bus home or cant be car rider then theres an after school care called boys and girls club which lets gives us snack, lets us do our homework, and get we to use our phones and go outside or go into the gym!

several teachers are rude and they changed my son's school without talking to us, no change of address, no reason at all for the change and was to a school over 5 miles out of the school zone. Lost his immunization paperwork twice, couldnt find him when I went early to pick him up from school. awful

It's boring. I am one who loves school, but CPMS has taken all of the fun out of school. They have way to many rules. Other wise it is good. Fav class? Theatre.

I would give this school 0 stars if I could. Horrible fights, no control over students, I bet people get mental illnesses from this school. I wish it would shut down. Don't send your kids here, the 5 stars are botted.

Went to this school, was one of the first students to ever go here when it first opened. The ONLY school I ever liked or ever really had school spirit for. Go cavs!

My daughter really likes this school she feels safe and she likes her teachers. I think she gets too much homework but she doesn't mind.
