What a wonderful experience!!! The staff were all so helpful and welcoming! I found my baby Leela there and she’s home forever! I love her immensely and had it not been for the CU humane society and all they do, it wouldn’t be possible! Thank you for taking care of her and taking her in to be safe until she came home!

Very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. None of the animals seemed in ill health or demeanor and all looked well cared for. The process to adopt was fairly simple and even gives a description of possible concerns or conditions that may make a difficult pet much easier to accommodate and grow closer together.

CCHS does a great job of letting you interact with the dogs you are interested in and allows you plenty of time to make your decision to adopt. The staff are very caring and warm people who truly love the animals. The staff will read you all the pets medical history and send you home with what you need including food. I had a great experience and glad that my Brie has her forever home.

We adopted Melvin at CCHS, and he is a lovely cat! I really appreciate the nice environment they provide for cats and patient staff--I am a totally newbie on having a cat, but they're really helpful!

The best place ever that’s doing the best to help animals. Getting an animal from a shelter is always the ethical and moral obligation we should all have. I’ve gotten a few pets from here and they’ve all brought so much joy to my life.

The process of getting our baby Ember was painless. They gave us two very large bags of his medicated food. He was also very well taken care of while at cchs. I highly recommend

We are so blessed to have adopted Johnny. He has fit right in to the family as if he has been here his entire life. He is playful, loving and has a big personality. I am pretty sure he thinks he is a dog. He loves to stretch out and relax when he isn’t exploring. The adoption process was thorough and it went smoothly without any issues.

We recently adopted our cat Pinto. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. He and his sister Maggie are getting along quite well after an introduction period.
