No lleven sus peritos aquí, lo mío volvió lastimado. Lleve para resuelve una cosa y volvió peor, ellos patentaron y dejaron moretones.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Kim and Central OC. Our dog Appa needed life saving surgery in Oct 2021. His story went viral and received national attention before we found Dr. Kim. People from all over were reaching out to help. Dr. Kim and his team performed a partial lobectomy after Appa had suffered from a traumatic pneumothorax. We knew he was in great hands after receiving a referral and reading his reviews and background. The surgery couldn't be more perfect. Our local vet a year later had to do an Xray for a cough Appa had (unrelated)and said that he could see that Dr. Kim's surgery was done with perfection. All parts are working great and our Appa is thriving! We recently visited Dr. Kim and his staff (May 2023). They were so happy to see Appa. They took photos and gave big hugs. So grateful for this team! I would HIGHLY suggest taking your furry family members to Dr. Kim for your ER needs instead of any corporate company vets. They are truly top notch! Thank you Central OC!

Last night we brought a cat in whose labor had stopped after she gave birth to just one kitten. They saw her right away and began helping her. They were incredibly caring and one by one got the next five kittens to come out. We even heard the staff in the back cheering for her when the last little one was born. It was a very positive experience and this morning the six babies and mama all seem healthy and doing well.

As a first time cat owner and someone relatively new to California I've had hard times knowing where to find a good place to take my kitten. I took her over here in regard to her eye ulcers that seemed to be getting worse and other additional symptoms. They took her in very fast and I met with Dr. Choi quickly as well. He was very informational straightforward and honest about what treatments are necessary and showed us pictures of her eye stain test results as well.
I really recommend this place for any urgent situations needed to be addressed!

I woke up the other morning to my little dog, Rocket, shivering and just not acting like himself. It's been warm out so I thought maybe he'd gotten a little too much heat the day before and decided to let him rest instead of taking him to the vet. Later that day, it became clear he was running a fever and was experiencing loose stools so I made him some bland food to eat to see if that would help. Shortly after our regular vets closing time, he went outside to poop and we found blood and then he started throwing up. We made a call to Central Orange County Emergency Animal Hospital and after a series of questions we were given some suggestions of things we could try if we wanted to keep an eye on him overnight or we could bring him in. We decided to take him in just to be sure.

We arrived shortly after and was greeted by the person who had answered our call. She was extremely nice and helpful as she readied the room and got his vitals. The doctor we saw was AMAZING. She was nice, listened to us explain his symptoms and was extremely gentle with our little dude. Once she'd performed her exam, the assistant came back to outline the recommended treatment and associated costs and then stepped out to give us time to discuss. We went with the recommended treatment including an overnight stay. When I picked Rocket up the following morning, he was clearly feeling better. The costs came in as estimated.

Emergency treatment isn't cheap but the care both he as well as my husband and I received made it well worth it. Rocket is at about 99% currently and I expect he'll be back at 100% in no time at all.

Thank you for making my little guy feel better!

We worked first with Dr Choi and later with Dr Dayhuff and they were both very kind, patient, professional and compassionate with us and our 4-legged family member, clearly explaining options, choices and outcomes, and answering and encouraging questions. We both highly recommend this vet. Yes, the $$ add up BUT all emergency vets are costly AND compared to local equivalents, Central Orange County Emergency Animal Hospital costs significantly less and clearly itemizes every item billed for, all of which come in at a very reasonable cost. We sincerely appreciated their excellent care at a time of crisis and need.

Paid 1k to run tests just to be told they still don’t know what they’re looking at, then run more tests my man, you need to know what you’re dealing with. Took my money then Dr.Kim revealed that some main surgeon is not even in yet until a few hours later, mind you it’s during everyone’s normal business hour (isn’t this an emergency place, is Dr.Kim as per diem or an intern?) therefore he himself could maybe go into aggressive treatment “blindly”, here’s another massive invoice for “blind” treatment. When the vet says he’d wing it blindly, I’m thinking my god you sent us straight to hell. Is my baby a joke to you… This is why I’m an atheist.

My husband and I rushed our pup to COCEAH a few weeks ago after he had a seizure. Nothing is more emotional or stressful for a pet parent than ER care for your fur baby.
My husband and I were so nervous when they were consulting with the doctor and putting together a treatment plan and pricing. Like many others, we’re currently struggling financially and were super concerned we weren’t going to be able to afford care for our 4 legged baby.
We were sooooo relieved when the vet tech came out and showed us the proposed course of testing and treatment. Fearing the estimate would be in the thousands considering it’s an ER facility, our pup is 130lbs and several tests were on the proposed treatment plan (including imaging) we were shocked when the price wasn’t even close to $1,000.
The vet and staff were all so caring and comforting. Our boy is a rescue with a traumatic past and doesn’t like being separated from mom & dad, especially in new or unfamiliar environments. The vet was incredibly thorough in reviewing all the test results and questions we had. Our big baby was brought back into the room and seemed comfortable and at ease.
This is definitely the first place I would tell ANY pet parent to consider in an emergency. They are open all night from 8pm - 6am weeknights and 24 hours on weekends. The staff is loving towards both the pet and pet parents and the doctors are all extremely knowledgeable and very helpful.
Both patient and parents went home and were able to rest peacefully after leaving the hospital.
