A Second Family

For 1.5 years, Canine New England was more than just a place for my aging dog, Kayla, to get some exercise, to my surprise, it became our second family. From the very beginning, Patti, Olivia, Alexis and the incredible team took the time to get to know both of us, creating a bond that Kayla and I cherished deeply.

Kayla always looked forward to her visits, eagerly anticipating the warm greetings and gentle care she received. As the end grew near, Patti and Olivia were always honest with me, ensuring that I wasn’t holding onto Kayla longer than she could manage. Their support and guidance during those final months were invaluable, providing comfort and reassurance when we needed it most.

I highly recommend Canine New England for any therapy needs, especially for aging dogs. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for animals make them an exceptional choice for anyone seeking the best care for their furry family members.

Today was my first time at Canine New England. We were referred to Robyn to try out massage therapy with my older dog who just turned 11 and has some arthritis in her back hips. Robyn was incredible kind, gentle with my dog, and explained everything she was doing. She also showed us some different things we can try at home to help between sessions. We were also welcomed with open arms to watch the agility trial that was happening there as well. The group took me in almost immediately upon entering and explained everything, introduced me to people who would be good to know and invited us to stay and watch. It was immediately like being with old friends. I'm looking forward to spending much more time there in the future with my dogs!

I reached out to canine of New England to schedule behavioral sessions for my dog and I. I was referred to Heather Andrews who reached out to me via email with rates. I asked her, via email, if we could talk before committing to on or off site training. She suggested 1100 - 1200 the following day to which I said yes. Nothing from Heather. That afternoon around 5pm an email asking if 10am the next morning would work. Yes was my answer. “Excellent, have a great evening “ was her response
This was 2 days ago and I’m still waiting for a reason for being GHOSTED or phone call.

My doggie Leo had two ruptured discs and had emergency surgery October 2023. His surgeon recommended Canine NE for his PT care. From the moment I walked in the door to have his evaluation with Patti, to the weekly visits seeing therapist Kara, Olivia, and Emily each and every one of them made you feel welcomed, that my dog was number one, and their expertise in making Leo well was always their number one priority. Canine New England is amazing and I cannot thank them enough ❤️ these past 4 months for all they have done for Leo. He went from being paralyzed, to running down the hallways. This place is amazing! Our 4 year old french bull dog Ruby had a herniated disc in her back and had to have emergency surgery. Tufts recommended doing treadmill therapy to help her regain use of her back legs and balance. The range of therapy options they provide is wonderful. The staff is very professional, pleasant and so insightful. Especially during this trying and uncertain times as dog parents…it’s hard to find hope and positivity. Canine New England has given us this hope and we couldn’t be more appreciative. Thank you! ❤️

Brought my timid, destructable(bored), rescue pup here and he loves it! They offer so much and we will continue to bring him here. Trainer Carin is so exceptional, all employees we have met here are great. Big facility with rehab, dock diving, agility, flyball, fit classes, reactive dog classes, so much offered! This place beats the box store training classes right out of the water! I take their business cards with me on outings with my dog, we see so many new neighborhood pups, and pass them out even though I am not affiliated. Canine New England has exceeded any expectations I had and I am proud to refer anyone to go there. I believe in them so much I have asked to purchase t shirts advertising them and would love to wear them on my multiple daily dog walks, unfortunately they haven't had any available.

My dog Leon will be 14 years old next month. He has arthritis so it has been very hard to see him slow down and have trouble getting around. I wondered if there was anything out there that could help improve the quality of his life, as he is everything to me. I heard about laser therapy and hydrotherapy, so I decided to give it a try.
Right after the first session I already noticed Leon’s improved mobility and overall happiness. I was shocked to see results so quickly. We have been going every week and it makes me so happy to see Leon’s big smile when we get there. He loves the treadmill and laser treatments!
The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable, from therapy to booking appointments. Harley recommended prescription food for weight management and mobility, and Olivia suggested muscle building supplements. Since starting both Leon has already lost 5 pounds! I just couldn’t be happier that Leon has a newfound happiness and improved quality of life. Canine New England did that for him!

Patti was amazing. She went above and beyond to explain everything to me and spend time with my dog to fully understand his needs. I went in there expecting him to leave in a wheel chair and left so encouraged that she didn't believe that's what he needed and gave me so many suggestions of things that would help him. She genuinely cares about dogs and is amazing at her job! Very knowledgeable and professional!
