Everyone is super friendly! They make Scar feel comfortable and excited to go back to camp. They treat him like their own dog and are always loving on him. Scar gets very excited to see them everytime we drop him off (and I mean super excited you’d think he was part husky by the way he cries in the car when we turn the corner). And when they bathe him he always smells really good. Everything they do you can tell they do wholeheartedly for these fur babies. We couldn’t have picked a better place to trust to take care of our dog whether it’s during the day or a weekend stay. The greatest thing of all is how tired he returns home, not even daily walks gets him as tired as he is when he returns from camp.

Brodie enjoys his stays at Camp Bow Wow. The staff are super cool and they take great care of Brodie and all the dogs in their care. The dogs get a lot of interaction with the staff and plenty of play time. The hours of operation make dropping off and picking up a breeze. Nice facility. I highly recommend the Avondale Camp Bow Wow!!

I found this place more than five years ago when I started going to the Peoria location & they closed sometime during Covid. I then switched to the Avondale location. The people that work there are simply amazing! I took my dog Peanut there until recently when he had passed away. Fast forward a few months later I now have a new pet named Zoey. I Went in to take Zoey today for her interview and they actually remembered my dog, So kindly gave me condolences and came out to the front and gave me hugs. Maybe a small, but moving moment for me. I would never trust my pets anywhere else! Thank you guys for being the best humans possible to our non-human loves! ?

I love that they offer enrichment services so she got some extra TLC while we were away. They sent us pictures of her getting snuggles which helped ease our anxiety. It was very hard to leave our fur baby for four days but they took great care of her. Being able to see her on the cameras is a great feature as well. Thank you for taking care of our girl!

I have been taking my dog since Sep. 16 and it’s now Oct. 23. I purchased a full day daycare package on the 16th and was told when I picked up my dog that everything was good since I purchased the package. Fast forward to today, the girl at the front desk never actually used the package day and told me I need to pay $34 for a mistake SHE MADE over a month ago. Everyone else has been great and my dog loves going to daycare, but I shouldn’t have to fix a mistake she made and didn’t handle until now. For reference I go twice a week, it’s not like I haven’t been there since the first time, they know my dog’s name when we walk in by now.

Great Place, Fantastic staff! Always so friendly and welcoming! Our pup loves going to day camp and for overnight stays. Everytime we mention Camp Bow Wow her tail goes crazy and she smiles!

I was disappointed with Camp Bow Wow and expected employees and handlers to be dog friendly and dog protective. I never went on the “tour” they told me I’ll be taken on so I never got to see where my pup slept. I never received the pictures and updates I was told I’d be receiving from staff and actually had to call the facility a few times to check in on my dog. I thought this place would be safe for doggos to go to for extended stays during vacation periods of the summer but I was wrong and won’t be making the mistake of booking with this facility again.

The staff here was very kind and patient, also very knowledgeable. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process that my pup was going to be ok and looked after with care. Pick up and drop off was easy and the only reason I come here is because I can drop in and view the cameras to make sure my pup is having a good time. What a wonderful sense of reassurance.
