Brookhaven Animal Hospital has restored my faith in veterinary medicine. The doctors there have been so nice and knowledgeable. Their Pet Desk app makes appointment scheduling and communication efficient.

I have been going to Brookhaven Animal Hospital for over a year now. They are great! I have two dogs and one of them is dog reactive. They do an amazing job getting him in and out of such a busy area without him ever reacting! I always feel supported in my decisions and they answer all my questions!

The support staff are really busy but always friendly. I will say that being able to text and email is amazing and the responses are very prompt!

Hate leaving negative reviews; unfortunately, a 20-second phone call today sealed my decision to change vets. Dr Horner was amazing while treating my senior dog Boo from 2021 to 2022. When the time came, he had to be put down at BAH. Still, Dr Horner was pivotal in making this painful experience much less unpleasant.

Six months later, I adopted my current dog Bino, a large GSD, and the experience has slid consistently downhill. Note, Dr Horner never treated Bino. The other vet was fine, but the support staff they hired since 2023 had been less than stellar. Bino had an expensive teeth cleaning less than a year ago and the tech was quite abrupt and unpleasant. Brushed it off, he was probably having a bad day. Knock on wood Bino has not had any medical issues.

Fast forward to today, I called and requested an appointment. The front office lady said, “For what” in a tone that made it clear it was a massive inconvenience. I said I fell a lump on his neck. She responded, “We are fully booked and this is not an emergency.” And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the last straw with BAH.

I will always be grateful to Dr Horner for her treatment of Boo, but Bino and I will be taking our business elsewhere.

I would like to give a warm thank you to Ricky, Linda, Tiffany and Dr Carr! I had to experience a awful thing with my poochi GG needing to have surgery and ... Bringing her into Brookhaven animal hospital made my experience calming and I was relieved immediately after leaving her in their hands. I felt as if the procedure was treated with care, and as a pet owner we all know that the cost of surgery is always a expense that we are not ready to digest, Tiffany was so sweet and warming with the proposal of charges and procedure , Linda assisted me with processing the payment affectively and Ricky made me laugh and feel at home! Dr Carr did a wonderful , very clean and GG is healing and ready to go outside to play! Thank you guys for such a great experience! You are all much appreciated. It makes me feel very confident in continuing to bring GG back to Brookhaven Animal Hospital.

BAH has taken care of my dogs for over 5 years. I bring my little elderly dog here for boarding quite a lot, and they always recognize her and welcome her happily when we walk in. They take great care of her and are very understanding and communicative about her needs. I was told they even carry her around a bit during the day while they are working so she can get some socialization. I love the fact that I can make an appointment or request meds through the app or by texting. Also, I appreciate that I can get a callback from a vet instead of coming in for an appointment when we have a minor issue. I highly recommend BAH.

Hi my name is Beanie, I am 17 years young! I thought I would share some different pictures of me with you from when I was a puppy and different ages and with my dad but you will see in one picture I did not look very good.

My dad and I took a trip to Georgia one that the entire trip wasn't so good but for me was really bad. I went to see the really good people at Brookhaven as I had an infection coming out of my nose and it wound up that one of my canine teeth was so infected just because it was old and had stuff around it the infection was bad. Now a doctor in Orlando always told me that I was too old to have my teeth taken out that I couldn't do anesthesia but the good doctors at Brookhaven wanted to give me the once-over because they wanted to do everything to make sure I could keep my dad in line.

So they checked my ticker out and said they were amazed for my age I didn't have any issues never mind any murmurs there wasn't even a hum! They ran some blood work and said wow even at my young age of 17 they thought they can get the teeth out of my mouth that's causing this bad infection. So the great doctors and staff at Brookhaven took that bag of teeth in one of the pictures out of my mouth and they left me with one good one so now I do have a toothbrush?.

It was touch and go for a little while with the infection but because they were such great doctors and cared about me and they knew I had some more years in me to make people smile and be happy!

I am proiud to say today I am healthy enjoying my soft food and still alive and making people smile! I can't thank the Doctors and staff at Brookhaven that took the time for me and just didn't say I was too old and time for me to be put down they knew I still had a lot of living left in me! If it wasn't for them my dad would be missing me.

So you humans that are looking for a great place to take your Furry Baby look no further than the doctors and staff at Brookhaven they are amazing people with really big hearts ❤ and they care about their furry friends! I thank you for all you did for me and my dad! Because of you guys I'm still here still making people smile and keeping my dad in line!

Brookhaven Animal Hospital wants to bury my review. This is the worst veterinary hospital. They are all about money. I received NO APOLOGY FOR SYDNEY’S DEATH WHICH THEY CAUSED. She did not have to die. They left her alone.

This was my beautiful Sydney. She was 13 years and 3 months. She was a patient of Brookhaven Animal Hospital. She had surgery for bladder stones at Blue Pearl in
Midtown at Brookhaven Animal Hospital’s recommendation. After almost a week post surgery, I asked Brookhaven Animal Hospital if she was good to board plus I cleared it with Blue Pearl’s on staff veterinarian in person. All was cleared. I picked up my Sydney on Sunday, dropped her off and called to check up later (no later than two hours) asking for an update. The receptionist said she would let Dr. Zach Vrono know to call me. I never received a call from Dr. Vrono or anyone in the office. I called the next day at 8:10 a.m. was told the doctor would call me as soon as he came in probably around 9:00. I received a call from Dr. Vrono after 11:00 saying he was so sorry no one was available to take care of Sydney. He said I should have known that they had no one to take care of any dogs on weekends. Look at their website. They guarantee additional care on “medical boarding”. I live close by. All I needed was a call to either pick her up and take her back to Blue Pearl or take her home. Or, we have no staff on the weekends, leave her at Blue Pearl. Bring her tomorrow! She was fine when I left her with Dr. Vrono. She needlessly died because of Brookhaven Animal Hospital! She was medically cleared when I brought her to Brookhaven Animal Hospital. After the one day with Brookhaven Animal Hospital, she had a fever and pneumonia. She died less than 24 hours later. I will be filing a lawsuit. This practice only cares about money.

I was told by the managing practice officer who has no prior experience with animals that I only cared about the money so I brought her to Brookhaven Animal Hospital to save money. I actually paid almost paid almost $10,000 for her care at Blue Pearl. I can document everything. This is a garbage practice who goes into blame mode when they messed up. I received no apology but defense mode and blame someone else. They are a horrible, horrific and hateful practice. I received no apologies but blame. Brookhaven Animal Hospital knew the issues with Sydney. They made the recommendation for Blue Pearl. Supposedly, Brookhaven Animal Hospital is experienced.

Brookhaven Animal Hospital hired a practice manager who has no prior experience with animals. He blamed me. Told me I only brought Sydney for money reasons. Insinuated that I only cared about money. I paid almost $10,000 for her care in this particular surgery. This a practice that is soulless and heartless. They only care about money and paying their huge rent. I have documentation on this.

The most tragic issue is my Sydney died under Brookhaven Animal Hospital’s care. A much lesser issue was I never received an apology. I received blame from “upper management”. Upper management believed it was my fault for trusting them even though all was cleared multiple times with their recommendation of the ER. Sometimes being human can ameliorate the long term issue. This is an exceptionally horrible veterinary hospital. They don’t care about the human parents. They just care about the bottom line.

The second photo was Sydney when she was a puppy. She passed away needlessly. This vet clinic is the horrible. They take no responsibility. They are so bold that I still get text messages for upcoming medical visits for Sydney’s siblings. This is a very arrogant vet clinic. I liked the staff but most of the veterinarians are arrogant. A degree from a good school is one thing but quality of care as professionals and competent compassionate veterinary clinicians is another. The vets are generally cold and uncaring.

It is interesting how they respond to every review but mine!
