Dr. Amy diagnosed my little Pomeranian girl with tracheal collapse & enlarged heart years ago when I rescued her. Fast forward a few years things progressed. I went to a specialist for her but my little one was having GI upset. Everything Dr. Amy told me to do worked like magic, back to normal. Aside from her expertise and attentiveness to detail, her personality provides ease and assurance in a very concerning situation. Dealing with heart failure / tracheal collapse is a very expensive, difficult process in those times you really want someone to come with solutions and not be such an alarmist. She remained on task and focuses on her work. I realllly appreciate this care! Thank you Brookside for the wonderful memories with my little one from the start ❤️

Dr Amy and Dr Dave are the BEST! Both have been our vets for many years. Unfortunately, our pet didn't see either of them at a recent visit and we were VERY DISAPPOINTED in the care process our pet received. BE SURE to request either Dr Amy or Dr Dave, but be aware that IF it is an URGENT/EMERGENCY visit, you probably won't get either of them. Also note that you probably won't get to see either of them if your pet hasn't been under their care in the past. 🙁

BROOKFIELD, don't bother asking me to call to discuss this. I already did.

3 dogs have been cared for by Brookfield. While they are on the pricey side, they have always been patient and great with my dogs. They are very good at explaining rationale of treatments, as well as my pets particular ailments. The vets are very confident and knowledge & i really have liked the two that has helped us. The front desk staff are very efficient and so nice. The techs are the ones that relay most of the 'back room' info, care plans/instructions etc--i've always been very satisfied with that though, because they are really knowledgeable, patient and super easy to talk to.

A neighbor recommended this office to me after I recently adopted a dog. I took him in this week for his first examination, and from the moment I walked in the door, I could sense I was going to really like this office. The front office staff were friendly and professional, and the office itself was clean and welcoming. I love the sign they have that greets all dogs with scheduled appointments by name. The vet’s exam was thorough and as gentle as possible with my doggie who is an anxious patient. I’m very pleased to have found this office for my fur baby!

I unfortunately have to leave a negative review due to 2 negative experiences we've had here.

The first happened when we brought our pet in for an inspection in order to get shots he needed. During the inspection the vet asked if we wanted bloodwork since our dog is a senior and she wanted to get more information on his heart. Blood work is $$$ and we had just done this at our previous vet 3 months prior. I would honestly do it quarterly if I could but it's just not financially feasible for us. The vet immediately made us feel guilty saying that just because he had bloodwork recently doesn't mean something hasn't changed. While valid, i cant imagine her expecting it to be financially feasible for most people to do bloodwork quarterly. She then proceeded to say all these things that were bad about him and then said the best thing we could do was to just keep him comfortable in his old age.

Our dog is a senior with very little problems and trying to guilt trip us into expensive blood work and then using words that made it seem like he's dying is really disrespectful.

The second experience was when our dog had an allergic reaction to shots he had received. We called 5 minutes prior to them closing and told them we were heading back down because he was having a reaction to the shots they provided. The front desk said the vets had all left for the day already, but honestly it just felt like they didn't want to deal with us, they were technically still open. The tech said she would send us a list of hospitals via email and include his documentation. The email we ended up receiving had no suggested hospitals and the documentation said there was no records which was false since we've been there multiple times by this point.

If you want a vet that will go above and beyond for your pet, this is NOT it. If you are looking for a vet that won't try to guilt trip you into expensive procedures, look elsewhere. We will not be bringing our dog here again.

They are wonderful. Very caring. We have 2 Cane Corson and they were not scared of them at all. They are very compassionate. We had to put our Golden Retriever down earlier this year. She was 16. One of our Corso has bone cancer and we will be taking her the to join our other dog in Rainbow Bridge
