Great clinic great staff only problems are like any other clinic, accountability will solve about 99 percent of those. Yes it's a business you can't dose if you can't pay kind of self explanatory. They don't hold your money hostage they cut me a 600 dollar refund check when I got retroactively on medicaid so people just blame this clinic for every little thing that has nothing to do with them half the time it's someone who isn't even clean or on the program long term lmao get clean then get some gratitude good grief. Been here 6 years now.

Closed on Sundays (recently) but open only 2 hours on Memorial Day AND Independence Day. This is sickening and un- American. They take Medicaid, but won't take private insurance! Let's reward folks for being successful and getting off welfare by not taking their private insurance through employer! No groups after the work day all are smack in the middle of morning while folks are supposed to be at work! Place is ridiculous, legal drug dealer.

WHO DO YOU CALL WHEN YOU'VE CALLED THE DIRECTOR & LEFT MESSAGES OVER A WEEK AGO.CALLED AGAIN, PHONE RANG TWICE & THEN SHE SENT ME TOO VOICEMAIL!!!! I KNOW WHEN SOMEONE SENDS ME TO VOICEMAIL & SHE'S DONE IT MORE THAN ENOUGH TIMES!!! IF WE GET CALLED & NOONE ANSWERS,,THERE'S CONSEQUENCES!!! SO THIS SHOULD BE A TWO-WAY STREET!!!! SO I GUESS ITS TIME TO FOLLOW THE CHAIN OF COMMAND !!!SOMEBODY'S GOING TO ANSWER !!!!

If you can't urinate, you should be given the choice of a blood test. I was there from 5:30 to 9:30 drinking water. Couldn't urinate. They had my blood but insisted on a urine. The counselors were great. Most places give you the option of having your blood taken or a urine. I hope sometime in the future they give people seeking treatment this option. I was unable to joined a program I desperately needed. The nurses "you have a urine to see what's in your urine today". I just gave blood. It would show what was in my blood better than a urine TODAY. Folks with medical conditions need this option. The changes only come with the Director. Fairly sure this against the American Disability Act. I have asked to speak with Director. This is a private company and not sure if they are accountable to the ADA. People with these conditions are being discriminated against and it breaks my heart for other people seeking treatment and are denied.

I've been to a lot of clinics, this is what I really like no long lines courteous staff and there's not a crackhead social community congregating in and around the building there are problems and cons but they don't out way the pros so I won't list them, oh and I don't notice drug dealing being a problem here either

A patient for over 4 years. Great staff and counseling is above the rest. Only issue is $$$ . they wont allow you to dose when your short even a quarter but takes they're time to return $$$ left on books when you leave the program 3 months and will not give corperates numbers or addresses. So one star for holding peoples money hostage. Oh another thing it very inconvenient to have to go to small claims to get it when they could avoid this issue and make a compliant and an advocate for the methadone program wait when all they need to do is pay out of the register which ive seen staff do to buy lunch for themselves.

If this cliniqc had a rating of less than one star it deserves to be rated on that system. I'm not trying to be funny I am as serious as they come. I have been a patient at the Richmond Private Methadone Clinic since 12/05/2017 so that gives me 18 months at this clinic 06/05/2019 I have had no dirty a q. Patients are lying about outside meetings and or councilors know or are not verifying their meetings. I could be doing the same but that would make me no better than them but I also think what's good for one is good for the other. Not finished I will post the other parts in a few. Our Medicaid group has become a soap opera beause we never have a group planned topic that never gets put in play anymore , it's based on these patients ongoing meaningless spats at home. Councilors have way to many patients to take. care of. The clinic itself is old and outdated and filthy. The only bathroom facility is so small it is not handicapped equipped definitely not up to code and unacceptable. It has been this way since I have been going there. Bathroom is nasty,disgusting and a giant germ infested hole in the wall. I've seen porta-potties cleaner and more sanitized than this one.
On May 30, 2019 Thursday when myself and my wife pulled into the clinic's rear parking area we noticed 2 things out of the ordinary one was a Henrico police plain marked small suv type grayish colored vehicle. I didn't think to much into it since we are at a methadone clinic. But then we see an individual walking around the whole building in a neon safety vest and a sun hat and jeans. I have never seen this individual before at the clinic. Then he walks up to myself and my wife asking if we had another lockbox, a very strange request that made me very nervous. So when I go inside I ask Janie, the clinic director if she knew who he was and what he asked of us, I then asked someone else in the lobby if theu knew him. Then all of a sudden he opens yhe lobby door shouting why wr were trying to f#ck him up with his methadone. How he knew so quickly wr inquoted about was way to fast. Also noticed then his vest wad inssued by Henrico County. This leads me to believe this individual was a work release prisoner allowed to roam freely around the clinic property without proper supervision. Which I think that is illegal. Don't quote me on this but just speculating. If anyone knows the rights and wrongs of this situation please post it. Thank you

I am posting this review in hopes that my clients aren't treated as poorly as I was during a recent telephone interaction. I was very pleasant and was met with an abrupt response from the medical office. Please do not treat your clients the way you treated a local stakeholder.
