We have been clients of Bohemian Spaw for about 3 years and are always impressed with the care and commitment Mariela and her team have when taking care of the doggies. Our doodle Teddy Bear is always treated with the upmost care and love when he’s there. Everytime I drop him off he’s so excited to see them and wagging his tail. In the past Teddy had some anxiety with groomers so this always makes me so happy to see 🙂

All of the staff are super friendly and accommodating, even offering pick up and drop off services which are super convenient. His haircuts always look great and the products they use help his hair not to mat even if he goes longer between groomings. I would recommend their services to everyone and would give more than 5 stars if I could!

First time I brought my dog here, I told them to give her the haircut they thought would work best but to not cut her head hair off (I style my dogs hair) and they cut her head hair off. I didn’t complain because I did like her haircut. The second time I went a couple of months ago they cut extremely close to her ears, mind you she was not matted there nor did they mention to me she was, there was only mention of some matting on her underarm area. I did address this issue with them but there is no excuse nor anything that could be done to fix the pain my dog must have been feeling on her ears. They did try to offer a free bath, but there is nothing they could ever offer for me to reconsider leaving my dog under their care.

Today was our 1st appointment, I have been taking my baby to the same place since he was a puppy. I recently became unhappy with their work. Lucky for us we stumbled onto this place. I loved that they only have about 2 clients at a time as this is great for us because my baby gets very scared of all the noises and other dogs. They greeted me with a smile and they handled my baby gently. I explained that he is a very nervous boy and the groomer assured me they would give him breaks in between if he needed them… imagine that!!!! They will give him a little break instead of rushing the process and stressing him even more. When I picked him up, he looked ADORABLE and his coat was so white, soft and healthy looking. His face was well trimmed and his face cleaned up, and the huge shocker was that his tear stains were completely gone. The other place always left a residual of the tear stains so I thought it was normal and that they would never come out. I’m so mad at myself for not making the switch sooner because the difference is HUGE! I’m very happy and so is my Damien.

Took my 10 lb Pomeranian here for the first time, and we are so glad we found this place! They listened and did exactly as I asked, and they went above and beyond paying attention to every detail. She looks and smells perfect! This is the best experience I’ve had having her groomed anywhere, and she is almost 9. Thank you!

Bohemian Spaw took care of my little kitty Dirty Shirley so well. Mariela cared for my girl so well and was very accommodating to give my Dirty the best treatment she deserves. Best part about it, my normally scared and shy girl wasn’t acting more so after the grooming appointment. She is all taken care of and she smells great too!

I feel like I struck gold by finding this place last year (2022)! It was relatively new but I had a good feeling about it because of how holistically based they are 🙂 My pup has been going to them since he was born! He had his first puppy groom where they showed him all of the tools just to get him used to things. And every single time we get there, he gets SO excited to see Mariela. He always comes home very happy, handsome, and with a cute lil bow tie! I do recommend Bohemian Spaw to every single dog owner I meet and I’m so happy their business is booming now — rightfully so!
