Been with this Vet for a long time, but never again. My wife called the Vets office at 8:30 am needing an emergency appointment, my baby girl dog was bleeding. Whoever answered, told my wife to call the emergency Vet as they were too busy for an unscheduled appointment. 18 months ago my girl had pyometra and needed emergency surgery. I was sent to the emergency vet, as Bivens was also too busy then to take care of her. That cost me over $5,000. I called back,Nicole answered, I asked her what was the point of having them as my Veterinarian if every time I have an emergency they pawn me off? She then told me, there were no records in their system of ever seeing my dog before. WHAT? She then said just drop the dog off, if we have time today we will look at her, and you can pick her up at 5pm. I said how about tomorrow? You can call at 8am tomorrow and see if we have any openings...No promises. I said that's ridiculous! Next, I said please have the doctor call me later today, so I can explain why I will no longer be using your services, and why you will see a bad review. Nicole then said, "You're not going to speak to the doctor after threatening us with a bad review!"
No compassion whatsoever, not a care in the world for my baby girl suffering. I called another doctor's office, and they said bring her in right now, thank God.

Dr. Biven’s and her entire team took such good care of our new puppy. There is nothing worse than not feeling like you can trust your vet, but this team and office is absolutely wonderful! The office is clean and organized and you can tell the people who work with her truly care for animals. If you’re in need of a new vet, check them out!!

Dr. Bivens and her amazing team is the place that you want to bring your family, bc our pets are our family! They diligently get back to you with all follow ups and even stay late after your dog has chewed threw her sutures. I appreciate his talented team and hard working office. Dr. Bivens takes her time, listens to your concerns and treats your animals as needed. I’m very grateful to be apart of such a great practice.

Dr. Bivens and the entire staff went above and beyond for my Archie-Mann on his first visit after being sick for 2 1/2 months, ER and other Veternarian visits without success.
She expedited his appointment to the internist, making sure internist had all info needed and stayed after hours to complete the appointment.

Andrea is knowledgeable, attentive, and unlike so many others she actually cares.

One of my dogs had a rough start and still —years later— doesn't fully trust me. But, he let Dr Bivens touch him without fleeing. He hasn't let anybody else do that since. Only her.

Safe to say, she has a way with animals.

In addition, her front office staff and techs are no slouches. Personable, too. Aside from the occasional emergency, appointments are actually for the time set up!

I adore and implicitly trust this woman with my dogs. Words will never be enough to express the depth of my appreciation for her.

Bivens is an excellent place for animal care. Dr Bivens and her staff are knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I had taken my cat to another vet because I suspected he was diabetic, and this other vet insisted it was a thyroid issue. $1000 later they were suggesting it was something else expensive, declining to check for diabetes. I called Dr bivens, and in a few days she confirmed my suspicion and had me trained to care for him. When he had difficulty with the shots, she had the perfect solution. I also have 3 dogs, which are kept up to date on shots, pill form infestation prevention, dental care, and everything else they need. The cost of everything is much less than my experience elsewhere, such that I am able to afford complete excellent care of all of them, rather than choosing "ok" options, ex. All in one flavored dewormer, flea and tick protector vs skin drops and various meds they don't like. In the event that something goes amiss, her staff are quick to fix an issue, and polite and caring of people's concerns. They have helped me set up a rebate account, called me to notify and resolve an overcharge, located missing records, and let me use a side entrance with a separate room for my dog with aggression against other dogs, making the environment safe for us as well as other pets. She also doesn't overschedule, which allows her to not have to rush thru appointments and possibly miss something. There is no better vet. Also, the building is clean, in good repair, and well located.
