We’ve been going to this vet for 15+ years. Dr. Guzy has been wonderful! Since the day he took over the practice we have appreciated and respected his care. Our dogs are happy and healthy, thanks to Dr. Guzy and Berkshire Veterinary Hospital.

I would be doing a disservice without explaining the lack of care and concern Dr.Guzy gave my dog. My senior dog was misdiagnosed for over a month and had a broken leg in two places while the vet said it was “only a bruise”. He then proceeded to give her blood thinning medication, which only enhanced her trauma. My poor baby went over a month without any pain medication, and we ultimately had to put her down. Please do what we should have done, and get second opinion if your gut is telling you something is wrong.

Dr Guzy and his staff are the best. I have been through 3 other vets which I never could trust. Always felt rushed, prices were always crazy and was told to go to the ER vet many times during working hours. That’s unacceptable to me. Dr Guzy is the most compassionate vet and you never feel rushed when your animal is in front of him. He will answer any questions you have! He personally has given me a call to address concerns from emails, test results, etc. I have had a couple of emergencies with my pups and the office has always told me to come right one in. This place is a true gem. Wouldn’t go anywhere else and I live 40 minutes away. My pups are in good care.

My cat was a diabetic. Dr guzy & staff always help with my pets . My cat was 20 years old and it was that time......dr guzy & staff handled it very well , they gave me the needed time to say my goodbye to my sweet angel. Thx so much ?

Best veterinary team in the Sandy Hook area. Dr. Guzy and his team have helped and cared for many of my families pets and really make you feel like one of the family. Anytime we need an appointment they are able to get us in as soon as possible (almost always the day of). They're a team of true animal lovers, are always so kind to wash up Mel, who does love their practice - but does not handle the car ride to and from.
If you are looking for an excellent vet and the best team from reception to tech's take your furry loved ones to Berkshire.

An amazing experience. We sadly had to put our little old lady down but Dr. Guzy was a pleasure to work with during this sensitive time in addition to his staff. They tried their hardest to help her, keep her comfortable and assist me in making the best decision for her and her quality of life. couldnt recommended this place enough.

Best veterinarians in town. They’re truly an amazing team!!! We live right next to them and on Christmas Eve our dog started seizing badly (he had bad breading unfortunately and didn’t know it since he was a rescue) he had a brain tumor and They took him in that night and took care of him he unfortunately passed away but they were so kind and they didn’t have to do that for us and we are forever grateful for them. They care of our cats if we need something done and they’re always so nice. We were sad to see the old owners leave but are thankful that this kind family were the ones to keep this business going. If you want vets that truly care about your animals well being this is the place you should go
