The staff (specifically nursing) are attentive and follows up with my family for any updates regarding my uncle’s symptoms and situation residing at Bedford. They’re receptive on instructions when we leave food for him and the site is clean. They have staff available to translate to Mandarin and Cantonese.

We were very lost and rushed when my uncle was being discharged from the hospital (Mount Sinai) and he became bed ridden. Bedford took him in and the staff has taken great care of him, they have in house doctors and physicians to tend to his appointments so he doesn’t need to be moved from an ambulatory vehicle to the doctor’s office in another borough and in the cold.

The only good thing I can say about Bedford rehab is that the physical and occupational therapy is excellent. The staff is taught how to avoid answering questions. The food is disgusting. Be prepared to spend on Door Dash or Uber Eats. You can get results for the issues you may have if you’re not afraid to stand up for yourself. My stay has been fine because I am not afraid to speak my mind and I refuse to eat swill.

This nursing home isn't that bad. It's clean and safe. I love the advocate jashia she assisted me and helped me get a private room. She's a beautiful person inside and out her passion and empathy shows!! She made my temporary stay here wonderful!! She listens and doesn't hesitate to take action!!

They only received one star due to the initial meeting. Everyone was friendly and appeared attentive. My family member has been in the hospital for over a month and her care was transferred to this facility. They do not take care of their senior patients. She has been left in her fecal matter several times. No one answers the call bell when she does ring it (I have been on the phone listening and timing their response especially given that my family member is prone to falls). We attempt to be there to assist her the best we can with our work schedules, especially since we want them to know she has family. When addressed the staff becomes defensive and are unapologetic. Given the nature of my family members condition another facility will be looked into. You took up the charge to provide care and are failing to do so, what if it were you or your loved one?

The care and treatment my mother got at Bedford was excellent. The therapists were especially friendly and caring. The best part of my mother's stay at Bedford was the available religion activities. Jewish music events a couple times a week, daily minyanim and Kiddush every Friday night and Shabbos, and the Heimishe resident liaisons were exceptional with their caring involvement.

My aunt stayed at Bedford Center after having surgery, where she fully recovered.
This place is amazing, very accommodating and helpful in every way, from the newly renovated rooms to the best rehabilitation team and staff.
The rehab and nursing staff are very kind and helpful.
The Rabbi in the facility was also very devoted and was a huge help.
The home like environment at Bedford Center is the best you can get.
