I don’t know if I can even begin put into words how great this place is! In January I needed to get my one year old dog up to date on shots so he could be boarded this past weekend. They were able to schedule us for an appointment quickly. At his appointment they were quick to call us back, super friendly, and great at explaining exactly what he needed to be up to date. They were able to come up with a solid game plan to take care of everything in a way that was healthy for my dog.
My dog stayed from Friday night through Sunday afternoon in the luxury dog suite which I highly recommend! You can view your dog 24/7 with the cameras and have a whole menu of additional services you can add for your pet! I can tell he was well taken care of for the weekend which makes me so happy and was a much needed comfort to enjoy our weekend out of town!

I would like to thank the staff for making this visit pleasant and helping us to feel comfortable and calm. We had just lost our good boy last week and our little man (Max) hurt his leg. Thank you so much for working him in and helping his to get better. We were very impressed.

We boarded Rusty for four days while attending my son’s wedding out of state. We were very happy to receive photos with daily text updates from Felicia, Lizzy and Natalie. It gave us a great peace of mind knowing our dog was being taken care of so well! Thank you for the wonderful treat box! Rusty loves his new toy!

After adopting our two senior dogs from the Parma Animal Shelter they had their first check up at Bartels Busack. Everyone there was awesome. Dr. Walker is so caring with my pups. It was our first visit since the adoption and we will be bringing Einstein and Kasi back for the rest of their lives. Vince is a great vet tech that treated not only our pets with kindness but their humans too!

We have taken our little Zsa Zsa there since 2022. She stayed the weekend and we were able to watch her online. She was well cared for. Yesterday she had to do another visit for a rare auto immune disease and treatment is going well. Staff was very loving to my "spicy" little gal as she does NOT like her nails cut and it had to be done. All her care has been wonderful. Cost? Very reasonable for great care. Would you really want to take your fur baby to a discount place? WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I took my skinny guinea pigs to their first ever vet visit and was this piggie mama nervous! It is so hard to find a good exotic vet and I felt at ease with the Dr. Walker who also made my piggies at ease too! I will be boarding my two, Harriet and Clementine and it will be my first time away from my babies and I feel more confident and assured in leaving them on their care. Love this place and thankful to have found a caring staff and doctor.Michelle

We adopted a special needs dog three years ago. Dre is blind and has brain damage in all parts of his brain. My husband and I are very particular and have incredibly high standards on who we leave our Dre with. My husband and I took Dre to the Barkley Hotel for two weeks the first year we had him. The place was nice, clean, attentive to Dre's needs, and pricey. We decided to try Bartels and Busack the following year, and Dre loved it as much or more than the Barkley Hotel. Some workers even came in on their day off to visit Dre. We received updates on Dre every other day, including pictures of him outside playing with the workers. If they have any concerns, they notify us right away. Plus, they have a Vet on the premises, which made us feel better due to Dre's medical conditions. My husband and I trust the staff with our Dre. Two weeks ago, we dropped Dre off for his second two-week stay. Again, the staff and facility did not disappoint!

Our family has been taking our pets to Bartels for over 20 years. We’ve gotten nothing but the best care. Our last trip, unfortunately, was to put down our 14yr old cat. They were able to get us in a couple of hours earlier (we didn’t want him to suffer any longer) and they were very accommodating while we were there. They even sent us a beautiful bouquet of flowers later the same day. We appreciate everything they’ve done for us and for taking great care of Dude!
