Had to take my puppy (pit) here as kind of an emergency..he is 1 yrs old and was attacked by his "best friend" , a 3 yrs old female(pit) that looks identical to him. After almost 6 or 7 months of them playing almost daily, I went by one day and let him in the gate and out of nowhere she came from the back door and immediately attacked him on his rear leg..she latched on with a deadly grip and hurt his leg pretty badly. I thought she broke it at first so I took him to the Barry Veterinary Hospital and the staff there was immediately warm and receptive and brought him with love.. despite his recent trauma, he was wagging his tail when he willingly went to one of the nurses..They had to keep him and sedate him in order to be able to diagnose and treat him which they did very well. He had to get 4 drainage tubes but other than that it was pretty much minimal.. They proscribed him some antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and some pain medicine which all cost only around $500. Could have been way worse. Thank you so much to all the wonderful doctors and nurses and support staff at Barry Veterinary Hospital from the bottom of my heart.. I hope y'all have a blessed Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year..

I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the office staff immediately greeting you & your pup by name the moment you walk in the door; plus being uber excited to see you!
Then the vet tech with their knowledgeable, caring & compassionate ways.
To top it off, you get Dr. Emma Yonan! She’s board certified in the art of empathy, understanding, patient, calm, confident, emotionally intelligent and her knowledge is on a whole other level, but she brings it down for anyone to understand.
Clearly, Dr. Emma & her team are the ONLY ones I trust to take care of my other half & best friend…..My Missy!

Dr Emma Yonan and her staff were remarkable! We happen to be on vacation when our little guy needed urgent attention. Everyone was super helpful and accommodating. We can’t thank them enough! Take your furry friends here…they will be loved!

Today was my first time going to Barry Vet. We just moved to the area and after a lot of research ultimately decided this might be the best place. I’m so glad I chose them! The front desk ladies were so kind. Dr. Richardson and the tech were the absolute BEST and took great care of my sweet girl Lucy. They were so kind, respectful and caring. I’m so happy we were able to find our new go to vet so quick. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone 🙂

My family was on a vacation in the area when our 18 year old dog went downhill. Long story short, it was time for our beloved Frankie to pass and Barry Vet Hospital was beyond helpful and sweet to us during this sad time. We have never been there but that did not hinder the quality of care and compassion we received. Dr. Y and the tech ( I wish I could remember her name!) as well as the front desk staff were knowledgable, helpful, and so sweet. I cannot recommend them enough for any pet needs. It was a hard day for all of us but Barry Vet Hospital helped Frankie pass over and gave us a quiet area to say goodbye. Thank you to everyone working that day.
