We took our Harley there and boarded her for 5 days. They took amazing care of her, they gave her a bath while she was there and she looks amazing. She had never been away from home and she is so happy. I recommend Barks and Recreation I will definitely be taking her there again.

I was very happy with this Kennel. The prices are amazing. It was nice and clean inside and out. They have grooming services. At the time I boarded my mom’s dogs they were booked up for grooming, but they got her in and did such a wonderful job. I will definitely recommend this place and I will use them again in the future.

Prices are good although every time I pick my dogs up, they have a dire need to use the bathroom. They are kennel trained so they only use the bathroom in their kennel if they absolutely cannot hold it. I don’t believe they are being taken outside to use the bathroom. Also, I’m told to call before I pick up which is an issue because why can’t I pop in and make sure they are being taken care of!!! That sets off a red flag big time. My dog has had a uti both times I have picked her up. I hope they are being let out to use the bathroom.. I want to believe my dogs were taken care of but I am having high doubts about it. Also, when someone asks to see the back room where their babies will be, you are supposed to allow them. Not make an excuse or say no you can handle them. I want to see where they stay. I will continue to search for a caring, dog boarding facility.

They Always take such good care of my little man Brutus! I miss him when I can't take him with me traveling, but I am sure he is in great hands when he stays at Barks and Recreation. BTW, everyone I have told about your great experience loves the name lol.

I met staff today and did a walk thru. Very friendly staff. Very clean facility.
Nice fenced play area. A doggie door for each kennel so dogs can play outside.
Very inexpensive. Grooming is offered.
My 3 can stay together in a kennel. Yeah.
I have 2 dates they will stay before vacation week occurs.

Many thanks for being able to accommodate our pets on short notice. The staff was friendly and helpful and receptive to our pets needs. The building was clean and has a nice play area.

It was our first time boarding any of our dogs. They were there 5 days, came home happy and well taken care of! Clean place with great staff. Definitely recommend

Great place….I brought our golden retriever here for grooming and they did an Excellent job. Highly recommend if you have a dog that sheds. After the grooming our goldens shedding is almost non existent
