This establishment goes above and beyond, if I could give 10 stars I would! The attention to detail and care they provided for our fur baby was amazing. Our regular vet recommended Dr Borostyankoi aka Dr B , and he's EXCELLENT ?! He explained the entire procedure without making me feel dumb and he answered all of my questions until I was totally comfortable with the process because he could see I was very nervous and overwhelmed with my dogs injury. The entire staff are so kind, friendly, and you really feel a genuine sense of comfort and love inside the facility. If your fur babies ever need any type of bone or specialty work I would 100% recommend calling this office to at least see if they can help you out. You will NOT be disappointed.

Very professional. Dr explained things well. Only downside is cost. Lol. Will definitely go again if needed. They helped my pup. 8 months old. Elbow displacia in both front legs.

BRVSS gave my dog away to strangers. I'm totally devastated. They haven't apologized and I don't have my dog back either!
Do you seriously expect me to believe your response is adequate? After I found Sadie roaming in the middle of a busy street about a year and a half ago, I took her to a vet to be scanned for a microchip. That vet office did not find one. I then posted online in multiple forums searching for her owners, along with the thousands of lost dog listings I waded through going back as far as possible in those various forums. Not one single possibility came up. So how do you expect me to blindly believe some long lost microchip was suddenly found and those whose information on it wanted her? For that matter, every employee at your business has seen me and both of my dogs hundreds of times. When a stranger came to get her, why didn't anyone attempt to clarify the situation with me? I'm not hard to find, I sit outside your office everyday.
Some stranger may have had a disappearing microchip put into my dog before I found her, but that doesn't prove ownership. Sadie had several people trying to get her out of the street that night. She ran from all of them, but she chose willingly to come to me.

We are so happy that our local vet referred us to BRVSS! They took great care of our baby and were so kind to him (and us) even though our boy is terrified of everything and comes across as aggressive. That meant so much to us! The doctors & staff were amazing & took the time with us to explain everything. It was over a 2 hour drive each way for us but completely worth it!!

They took amazing care of my girl. They took the time to explain anything and everything to me (a visibly shaken dog mom) and never showed anything but patience, kindness, respect and gentleness. Thank you all for helping my girl, I'll never be able to thank you enough!

Love this place! The nurses were incredibly nice and helpful, they treated my dog with excellent care, clean office, easy to find, and the Vet that helped us was very informative and easy on the eyes. The two downfalls... Only open on Wednesdays and in Bakersfield. I live 50 miles away, they were the closest animal specialty surgeon I could get on short notice- but I'm extremely pleased with the outcome even though it cost me an arm and a leg, my dogs health and ability to walk on all fours again is worth it, and I guess that's my fault for not having pet insurance. Altogether they made an extremely stressful situation a lot more bearable, thank you all for your professionalism and kindness!

The best experience I’ve had at a vet! Coordinating through phone and email was quick and the staff were very helpful. They had convenient availability. Prices are thousands less than the LA area. There was a bit of a wait because they are popular, but nothing extreme. Waiting area is smaller so if you have a reactive dog wait outside once checking in. The surgeon we saw, Dr B, was kind and professional and explained everything. This was my second TPLO consult, first with him, but he had an interactive diagram that allowed you to see how the knee works before and after surgery. It was ingenious! He has a small European accent but it is definitely understandable. His follow up phone call after surgery was appreciated. The rest of the staff, especially Shelby, really helped put my mind at ease about the facility and quality of care. I’d recommend to anyone in need of dog/cat surgery.

BRVSS has been such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They’re super efficient, their office is clean and everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. My dog had the TPLO surgery and is healing so well and is getting back to her friendly happy self. Couldn’t recommend them enough!
