Great price nice selection of fish very knowledgeable staff and very helpful. They give you their full attention so you have all of your questions answered. We drove almost 2 hours and it was definitely worth the drive. We will go back. Really the prices are great!!

It was a really nice place and I liked and It had a bunch of cool fish, and they had really nice tanks and really cool decorations and everything you would want in a fish tank and a bunch of stands or whatever but day that I’m very concerned about is how they have full grown axolotl in tanks smaller than 5 gallons in the axolotl need bigger areas so They can swim because they like swimming I would recommend for aquatic center to get bigger tanks for the axolotl‘s because me personally I have an axolotl and it’s a baby and a 20 gallon tank these axolotl’s are in like 2 gallon tanks
and they don’t look too healthy and it’s not healthy when axolotl‘s float ?

stopped in here on vacation and i was sad to see how skinny and malnourished and obviously sick the axolotls were, their was at least 1 or 2 dead babies, but i asked for the pricing on the two sickest ones bc i would have taken them home but they wanted half off for one and full price for the other, that probably wouldnt even make it home!!!!! sickening

Good selection of fishes and shrimps. The staff are usually helpful and knowledgeable. However, they don’t reward customer loyalty. Frequent buyers and first time buyers are all the same to them…

Updating my removed 2 star review: I moved up here from South Florida, three years ago, where fish stores were as plentiful as gas stations. Gainesville is not that. These guys, even though they’re the only fish store that NOT big box, they do a decent job. I’m the type of person that believes that there is always room for improvement and less I walk into a store in my mouth doesn’t close. You do not get that affect here, unfortunately. Unless you’re standing in front of their show tank that is.

Over the last year, I would say that they have come a long way ! The store is a lot cleaner, and they revamped their tanks. There is a constant variety of tropical freshwater and salt, water fish any day of the week. The best day to come here is either Wednesday or Thursday when they get their shipment in.

Best place for your aquarium needs. The staff is amazing and super helpful. I’ve asked questions almost every time I’ve gone in and they are never unwilling to help. Great products and live stock.
