Dr. Oesterling is AMAZING! She has been so lovely with our 8 year old beagle boy, Marty. I always feel good about the hands he is in when we bring him to Shorewood for his care. All of the vet-techs we have worked with have also been amazing. I never feel rushed, both the doctor and techs take time to understand Marty's needs and my concerns. The reception staff is kind and friendly. We LOVE our Shorewood Animal Care Center team.

Animal Care Center of Shorewood is fantastic! The staff are professional, kind, and truly care about my pets heath and address any concerns I have. I was concerned about something I found and they were able to get me in same day. They even called me later in the day to see if I wanted to come in earlier. Dr. listened to me and did the needed tests to ensure my pet is healthy. Truly appreciate their whole team!

Every other vet office i called had a 2+ week wait and here they got us in within the week! The staff was very kind and helpful in answering any questions. The bad reviews I saw about this place seemed more on the pet owners fault than the actual staff/facility. Our Potato is doing much better and we will keep bringing her here for her future appointments!

Dr Buchanan is awesome with the French bulldog breed! He always takes care of my babies to perfection! Wouldn’t want anyone else handling them! My dog is already his spunky playful self a day after surgery!

Waste of time. Went for a first puppy visit, no tags or microchip given at initial visit not sure if that’s common but based on my previous vet/experience this is routine to do. Upon asking if there was a better shampoo or probiotic spray that works to help with dog smell vet said he doesn’t know he’s a cat guy. So if you have dogs I guess I would take them else where. I also had to prompt the vet with questions in order to have appropriate care. Had I not asked about heartworms I wouldn’t have been given a sample- had I not asked about her itching he wouldn’t have tried to suggest buying tick and flea medication I had to ask for seresto collar and then he brought one out that was way overpriced, 70$ when I could get one on chewy if he gave a prescription for it. When the receptionist asked for dogs weight I had to ask for her if the scale was clean because we have to be caution due to par I she said yes it was then I almost set her down and she said you know just to be sure I’ll clean it again so I was happy because then I knew it was clean for sure. Went to give the fecal sample as he requested to check for parasites and the office is actually closed. No directions were given when given tube to collect and hours of operation on google says they are open. No packet of information was given as a new patient either. All of these things would have gone over looked had I not had gone in to give sample on Saturday and experienced a very displeased groomer because she had to answer questions regarding the regular office. I explained I had only had one visit and I had the sample she said she couldn’t take it because the office was closed and that the lab wouldn’t open until Monday so the sample would not be good for Monday. I understood but thought it was extremely inconvenient to have to go home- come back for another tube- come back with the sample during business hours, she said “it’s too hard to pick up your dogs poop and come back” with a very rude tone. So rude that the guy that was laying flooring looked up. I paused and said yeah actually it is. I asked her name it was amber and left. I guess I would say change your hours on google for new patients- give them office hours when they are told to get a fecal sample so they can drop it off at the correct time- maybe mention tags and microchipping during visit and don’t tell the owner of their new family member that your not a dog person your a cat person. I guess you have to know a bad one before you find a good one so sad this just won’t work out with ErAH would have made them a lot of money within the first year.

Absolutely terrible way to do business. They made an appointment for my dogs ear, didn’t even look into his ear because he’s a German shepherd they wanted him muzzled. He wasn’t barking or growling. Just scared. They told me that his ear got water in it probably and gave me something for yeast. I brought him home and he didn’t get better so I made another appointment. Gave him gabapentin the night before and the day off they still wouldn’t look in his ears. Gave me a tube of nystatin. The vet said it might be food allergies. Mind you I paid 400$ for these two visits. I brought him across the street a month later to the other shorewood vet. They looked in his ears and said he has an outer ear infection. I called ands asked for my money back since they did nothing they told me no. My dog had an ear infection for three months.

Friendly staff, get right in with appointments and prices are great! Sandi is an amazing groomer! She listens and does exactly what I love !
