I have used Alpharetta Animal Hospital for a few years now and it is always a pleasant and easy experience. The receptionists have great communication and work in a very timely manner with any paperwork you need. The Vet, Vet techs and staff are extremely personable and are always willing to listen and answer any questions you may have. The rooms and waiting area are always clean and well maintained.

I have been a long time client of Alpharetta Animal Hospital (more than 15 years) and can’t say enough good things about them. While they are a very busy clinic, I have always felt well taken care of there with all of my fur family and continue to fully trust that we’re in the very best hands! I have referred many people and will continue to do so.

I really like this place. I give four stars instead of 5 solely because they have misdocumented some things regarding my cats (i.e saying one is an indoor/outdoor cat but he is just indoors, saying they aren’t microchipped but they are, and little things like that). BUT still a solid 4 stars because all of the doctors are very kind and the techs as well, they always treat my cats really sweetly and gently, and the big thing is they aren’t one of those places that suggests unnecessary tests or treatments if they feel the animal doesn’t actually need them. Some vets will run every test under the sun and try to do all this treatment that isn’t really needed and this place has vets that will tell you their honest opinion. I was told by a vet from another place (that we didn’t like very much) that they needed to run all these tests on one of my cats to see if he had a thyroid issue and then when I took him here (this is his usual place) and mentioned the issue, the doctor said there’s no real point in running those tests because he shows no other signs of it being a thyroid problem and said the presenting behavior is just his personality and not a medical issue. So I recommend this place because they don’t try to push treatment or diagnostics that aren’t really needed and they’re all very nice and gentle with animals. My cats despise the car ride to the vet but, once we are here, each of them are chill. The staff clearly makes them feel comfortable.

terrible experience, refuse to treat my dog with life threatening condition because they have to wait for the schedule to open up. they want to run tons of tests to gouge us for money and keep him locked up until he dies. used to be a great vet but do not go here.

My friend recommended this practice to me for my kitten, so I am a new customer and have been there 4 times now. I really like the fact that you do not have to have an appointment to see them and that they open early. I have been impressed with both Dr. Perales and Dr. Doiron, they are friendly and knowledgeable, and my kitten likes them too. I have not had a pet in a long time so I do not have recent vet experiences and prices to compare this one to. I am happy with them and am recommending this practice to others.

I've taken several of my pets here. They were recommended by RMG after I fostered and adopted so I continued their care here to ensure continuity and because I liked the vets and staff so much. One was a very sick kitten found nearly frozen + a severe respiratory infection. They saved his life! He's now running around my house like a true kitten and making up for any lost time while sick. They didn't give up on him and I'm so grateful for that. I've also taken my two very old chihuahuas (one passed at 17 and the other is 20 now!) here for checkups, tooth extraction, and other treatment. Despite their age, they've gotten the best of care. When one had kidney failure, they were able to revive her and she lived another 4-5 very comfortable and happy months. They could've just said she was old and it wasn't worth it but they recognized that she had the fight to live and was treatable. She eventually passed away a few months later but I'm thankful for the extra few months she had - happy and healthy. When she did pass, Dr Keller was so wonderful and kind at such a sad time. I've been to many vets as I have had a lot of dogs and cats over the year and I highly recommend them!

I have used AAH many times and they have always gone above and beyond. They are so compassionate and you can tell they love all animals. I had to put my 15 year old Cairn to sleep due to cancer and they allowed me to spend time with him before as well as during the procedure. A few days later they sent a sympathy card as well as a paw print of my beloved Scruffy. It meant the world to me.
