Terrible communication. I'm a new client and I'm not sure this is the place for my four animals. I dropped a lot of money on my first pet and paid in full before I left. No callback, no estimate on the dental I wanted and no call back on the second allergy shot he needs. I need a vet that treats everyone as they matter, no matter how busy you are. Highly disappointed and do not recommend.

Don’t want to give less than 2 stars because all of our experiences with our dogs and with Dr. Foster specifically were great. The staff treated our dogs so well.

However, we had an unfortunate situation involving our cat, labs were run without my consent, and we were told my cat had diabetes and needed to go on insulin. When we questioned the diagnosis all we got was a bad attitude from the vet. After taking her to a different clinic, it turns out she doesn’t have diabetes at all. Overall very disappointing visit considering our previous experiences being so great. Fortunately our cat made a full recovery from that day and is still happy and healthy.

EDIT: Updating my review to 1 star due to the misinformation in the reply and attempting to discredit my review. I should clarify, I did give consent for blood work over the phone but that was it - nothing else was asked about. My cat was given insulin WITHOUT my consent -- it's pretty hard to forget that happening, especially when I had spoken to the front office staff and made it very clear not to run labs or give medication without our explicit consent.

I did not misinterpret what the vet said. I remember being told after questioning the diagnosis - "Good luck, you'll be back for insulin soon enough". For your information, she's had perfectly normal blood glucose levels at every other vet appointment at our new clinic, and she's never had another insulin injection.

Dr. Vivian Nash and Bekah Madden really came through for us during a Saturday morning emergency with our 13 year old dog Brody. A vet I just spent hundreds with on boarding turned us away without even triaging the walk ins by urgency. Tendons needed to be sutured. With his age and current health they put careful consideration into using as little sedation as needed. Brody was running days later. I will be thanking them by entrusting them with getting up to date on heart worm testing and treatment if needed for all three of our rescued dogs. At his age we cherish each day with Brody and thanks to All Creatures we get more days with him.

From the moment I called in a panic to schedule an appointment and surgery, the staff sprang into action with efficiency and compassion. Despite the busy schedule, they made room for us and ensured we were seen promptly.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with warmth and empathy, which immediately put us at ease during a stressful time. The entire team demonstrated genuine concern for my pet's well-being and took the time to listen attentively to my concerns.

We were clients of Stewart animal clinic for over 25 years until he retired. His clinic was sold to a corporation and we left to find a veterinarian that owned his clinic as we felt the care would be more personal.
We found that at All Creatures. Front desk staff and technicians are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I've seen both Dr. Foster and Dr. Hankes with Dr. Hankes our favorite. We recently had a family pet that was dying and we wanted help to let our dog pass at home. He was understanding and made it happen with the option to come in if we changed our minds. Earlier we tried Stewart's and another vet in Birmingham. Neither would help with what I called pet hospice. Euthanasia was the only option given.
Dr. Hankes has restored our other dog's skin and chronic ear infections to a more manageable level. She's showing more improvement and energy than she has in years.
We highly recommend and encourage others to trust their pets care to Drs. Hankes and Foster.

All Creatures are the best!!. I have use Dr Hankes for years an would not go anywhere else. The staff are very friendly an We love Jackie.. She is great with Nirto he gets excited every time we pull up to the clinic. He can’t wait to go inside. He loves the daycare program an I do to because he comes home so tired lol .

Do not take your pets here!

I scheduled an appointment with this vet and when I arrived at the scheduled time there was nobody there and the building was locked. I waited an extra few minutes just to be sure nobody was running late and it ended up being a no call no show for an appointment I MADE. They never called or emailed me to notify that the appointment would have to be rescheduled and there wasn't even a note on the door. Their normal business hours have them open until 6PM during the week and my appointment was at 5.

Listen, I love bringing Titus there. No one is scared of him because of his size or breed, and ALL OF YOU are always nice, caring, and patient, and we never have to wait long for him to be seen. I don't think you can get any better. ALL CREATURES STAFF IS AWESOME!!
