Such a lovely local store for my doggo needs! I primarily purchase the Canada pooch booties for me, my family and friends' dogs but I have also gotten some high quality sweaters for my small pup for when it's cold out or we go camping. They are high quality products, so I tend to spend a bit for the items but it's great to have a local shop to try on the booties and the staff and owner are exceptional. They also support local rescues and donated a small but meaningful gift for nurses week! Thank you AK Bark for such a wonderful store and your customer service making me comfortable and supported when I shop. Also, they ship! I wanted to send a gift to a family member in Fairbanks and they do that!

Sunday staff person has always been respectful, helpful, and knowledgeable about specific product lines available. She researched and located a specific item listed in the inventory, but not on the shelf. Staffer took time to look through 'upstairs inventory' to find exactly what I needed! Amazing customer service. Will continue to shop Ak. Bark on Sundays. Thank you!

Definitely a must shop for your furry sidekick. pup knows this place now and gets so excited when we get close. Large selection instock of all different kinds of dog apparel, accessories, first aid, fresh made dog snacks, toys for just about any breed or any activity you and your companion might find yourselves getting into around here.

Went to this store because we were killing time and we are glad we did because we found an amazing assortment of supplies including some of the last supplies we needed for an upcoming thru hike with our dog. Specifically booties. I wish I had known that this place existed long ago when I was looking for other technical gear for my dog as she flies on helicopters and there are ear muffs there for trying on, and dog goggles and lenses from Rex specs. Much nicer to bring in your dog and get the right fit rather than measure and hope it turns out all right in an online order. Staff were very helpful and informative!
