We took our pup here on a late Sunday night when our regular vet was closed and the staff were amazing. We had budget restrictions and the staff did an amazing job accommodating us and making sure our pup received thorough care. We have a nervous dog and by the time he left he was getting all the love from the staff. The vet that was over his care did a great job explaining everything to us and making sure our boy left happy and healthy. I am so thankful for this clinic and will be keeping them in mind for the future if our fur babies ever need after hour care.

Our dog jumped out of our moving vehicle. It was a Sunday, so our regular vet was closed. I am so happy this clinic was available! Friendly, knowledgeable, caring staff. They treated our dog so well --thorough exam and gave us all his meds with detailed instructions and emailed instructions also. They made a follow-up call to check on his condition after a few days. I thoroughly recommend this clinic!

Cannot recommend this facility enough. We were fortunate that Dr. Sharp was on duty when we had to take our very loved pup in as she was declining rapidly. He was able to identify that there was a bleeding mass on her spleen and stayed late to operate and remove it. All of the staff we interacted with were kind and you could tell they truly cared about how Maya was doing. Yes, veterinary care, especially emergent, is costly but like all medical care the costs and overhead are rising and we were just grateful to have someplace to take Maya that saved her life. Thank you all so very much!

My dog needed to see a vet urgently, but our standard vet was already closed for the day, and the 24 hour location I'd visited previously was closed as well. Called After Hour Animal Hospital and they told me that I should expect a wait, as they triage and see patients based on urgency, but that they would be able to see my dog that night, eventually. I did have to wait several hours, but my dog was ultimately seen, examined and treated. Overall it was a very positive experience, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was nothing to be done about the wait time, as they had several critical cases which took priority over the less severe issues with my pet.

This place should not call themselves after hours animal clinic. My puppy was hit by a car. He was injured but still breathing. We rushed him to this place, bc I knew it was for emergencies. When we arrived it was 5:30. The guy at the front door was just looking at me and kept saying they were closed and wouldn’t open until 6. I called the number, he answered. I begged him to help me. Told him what happened. That my dog was injured but still breathing. He said there’s nothing I can do you’ll have to go to Cantrell. I pleaded with him that he wouldn’t make it for a drive to Little Rock in rush hour traffic, could he please call someone in early. He just kept saying “no, we don’t open until 6. I just answer the phones, and turned us away. My dog ended up passing about 30 minutes later. Now, had this guy had any heart or compassion for us, offered to have us come in a wait, or at least give us a room instead of leaving us outside in the rain, who knows if the outcome would’ve been any different. But, I watched my puppy take his last breaths in my arms in my garage bc this guy wouldn’t be bothered to even attempt to make a phone call or have any compassion So basically, to say after hours, it means not on Sunday, certain times on sat and only after 6 on Fridays will they help so just pray no emergency happens outside of those times bc they will do nothing at all but tell you no. This was my 8 year old little girls first puppy and the grief that has taking over our family no words can describe. I feel my situation was handled with 0 compassion and how you work at a place for animals and treat humans the way he did us. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Emergency or not. It was inhumane.

If I could give zero stars, I would! They wasted precious time, and charged me almost $500 for an xray and to confirm what I thought my girl had, but then told me that we needed to take her to LR for care, because they can't care for her here. They could start the care, but couldn't finish it, because they aren't open late enough. They could have told me that on the phone when I told them what I believed her to have. Super disappointed, terrible experience. I will never go back and have already told several friends and family never to use them.

Our little pup was attacked by a big American Bully and when we arrived we were immediately taken care of. The staff is very caring and updated us often. They took great care of our pup and that is all we asked for but, they were all very caring to us as well.
I added before and after pictures, Cooper is healing very nicely. We thank you so very much!!!
