I can not speak more highly of Aeslin Pup Hub! It was recommended to me by a coworker who puts their dog in daycare a few times a week and I can see why. Leah, the owner, genuinely cares about not only our puppy but all the dogs that come in. The joke my girlfriend and I have is that we've never seen someone in a more appropriate line of work than Leah - she's friendly, clearly loves dog and makes the entire experience great for the owners (and dogs).

Our puppy is still learning the basics and the handlers at Aeslin go out of their way to work on those with her, which is truly above and beyond our expectations. Most importantly, when it comes to our dog's happiness we are fully certain she loves her time - at drop-off she's whining to get in the door and can't wait to get to the play rooms fast enough! Additionally, as owners, we get constant updates via photos, videos and messages showing the dogs playing and having a blast - it's a great added touch to give us peace of mind during the workday.

We currently use the doggy daycare and plan to do boarding in the near future based on the success of daycare!

Overall, I would (and do) recommend Aeslin to anyone who wants their dog to be in a trusted, safe and clean environment where they know the people care!

We have been taking our puppy to aeslin for about a year now, and he loves it there! He gets so excited to go every week and runs right in when the door opens. You can tell that Leah really loves all the dogs and is very knowledgeable about each one’s needs. I highly recommend if you are looking for a doggie daycare or a boarder!

I’ve been taking my dog here for daycare and boarding for 4 years and I’m always so impressed with how much effort the staff puts in to know the customers (dogs and humans alike). Leah, the owner, is very responsive and involved in the day to day business, and I’m always impressed with her attention to detail. The staff has always been personable and professional, as well as flexible with scheduling. My pup has anxiety and was fearful of daycare, so I really appreciate the care they put in to make him comfortable. Aeslin is a wonderful local business! 🐾

My dog and I love Aeslin!

I have been bringing my dog to Aeslin for 3 years now and I have very satisfied with the service and the care my dog has received there. This is a well-run small business that I would highly recommend to others.

Here are some of my major observations over the past three years.
1. My dog loves going to Aeslin. He is always eager and never apprehensive upon arrival. When I pick him up he is happy to see me, and is content and restful when he arrives home (a sign of a long day playing with his friends!).
2. The owner cares deeply about the dogs. Leah is incredibly passionate about taking the best possible care of these animals, and building a team that is similarly motivated and trained to support that mission. I am constantly delighted by how they structure each day and find new, creative ways to engage the dogs (e.g., bubbles, peanut butter Friday). I also love getting pictures and updates (meals, potty breaks) throughout the day.
3. The team at Aeslin are striving for continuous improvement. Through the last three years, there have been investments to revamp the space, buy new crates for overnight boarding, and more. Moreover, the owner is very involved in operations and has proven to be open to feedback and transparent about how things run.

If in doubt about whether Aeslin is the right place for your dog, I'd highly recommend contacting the Aeslin team to understand their policies and operations.

I’ve been taking my dog to Aeslin since spring 2023 and we couldn’t be happier. Leah is great and really takes the time to get to know all the dogs and their quirks. I recommend daycare or boarding services 100 times over!

If you are looking for trust and safety in a daycare for your beloved dog, then Aeslin Pub Hub in Bucktown does not fall in that category.

We used Aeslin Pup Hub for a couple months (1x or 2x a week) and during this time my gut was telling me something wasn't right. While Leah the owner seemed knowledgable in her trade, we were led astray on the actual care that takes place during business hours and overnight boarding.

Our Cavapoo came home recently and was completely traumatized, hid in the closet for a couple of hours, after returning home from a daily session. He was guarded, on the defense & afraid of something that I couldn't quite figure out.

I sent an email to management immediately, and while I got a follow up call, it was shared with me that staff is not present with the dogs overnight. Additionally, they close for two hours during the day, where the dogs are crated, so the staff can go home for a break. When I asked what they do if there is a break in or a fire, I was told they are adequately linked to Chicago Fire Dept, which seems like a risky system.

This should be communicated to all customers during intake or on the Aeslin website. It was shared with me by management that it's rare for daycares and boarding establishments to require supervision overnight, which I found very hard to believe. I've called around to few places since then where they do have someone on staff with the dogs at all times (during the day and overnight).

Lastly, the cleanliness was a major concern. The last couple of sessions, there was a potent smell on our pup's fur and we had to bathe him after each day. Not only, his feet were dirt black, which tells me that this business is not kept up to Chicago sanitation standards.

I am not writing this to complain or scare dog owners, but rather to forewarn if you care about your pup and want them to be safe while you're traveling or at work. Ask questions and be curious!

I cannot say enough good things about Aeslin Pup Hub! Every single staff member is absolutely outstanding. I have sent two dogs to this location for daycare and boarding, and my dogs have the best time and receive so much love when they go there. Both of my dogs have substantially increased their social skills since coming here! The owner, Leah, is also such an incredible person; she helps so many dogs and people, and is extremely generous. I have so much peace of mind knowing my pups are so well taken care of here. Definitely recommend!!

Aeslin is wonderful, and inviting of all dogs! Their staff seem to be patience, and experts in dealing with all dog personalities. Our pup is pretty reactive around dogs, and they take the time to train and teach her to be around other dogs. They also provide regular updates on their app when our pup is in daycare. Our dog loves going there, and is support tired by the end of the day.
