I have been using Dr. Livingston and Acoma since 2013, and as a breeder he has dropped everything to help me with a birthing problem. His bedside manner is fabulous, and he always tries to save me money. Add the fact that they also accept Pet Assure which gives me 25% off (except medications) and I couldn't be happier! He has a great rapport with the animals as well, and takes every measure to find solutions and assist in all emergencies. He has even called me on his days off to assist! Add his Christian faith which shows in his professional and super-friendly personality, and he is my go-to vet for my 4 cats, and 15 dogs! I recommend him to everyone I meet!

I moved here from Atlanta recently and I was so delighted to find Dr. Livingston. He is very knowledgable, friendly and has a great sense of humor. I referred my friend to him and she too found the same great qualities!

Dr. Livingston is the BEST vet. I would not take my pets anywhere else. I love referring him to family and friends. Doc and staff are caring, compassionate and will always treat your pet as if it was their own. Can't speak highly enough about them all. FIVE STARS and then some! Thank you for all that you do!

This vet is the only place my pet insurance covers. I've seen both vets here and they are very good. However I now have to find another vet because the price for lab work is $250-$350 and I can't afford it and my insurance doesn't carry it so I will be paying out of pocket. One of my cats was diagnosed with early kidney disease by a urinalysis but needs to be confirmed by a lab test. Im also not happy that they offer declawing here as it can severely disable a cat. If you need to get your cat declawed then don't own a cat.

After moving to Tucson in 2018, I had taken my pets to a few vets and was not thrilled with their service. During the pandemic, many vets weren’t allowing owners into the office, which was understandable, but I knew there was no way my boy would understand that. Enter Acoma Animal Clinic. I gave them a call and they said we could come in. We first took my boy Bruce. He was quickly losing weight and we didn’t know why. Dr. Livingston acted fast and got him on medication for Valley Fever and that’s exactly what it was (being from the east coast. We’ve never heard of it before). My boy went from being a frail 40lb skeleton to being a 65lb brick wall within months. Dr. Livingston truly saved his life. He’s always very thorough with us. He explains everything. Gives us options. And tells us what he feels is needed vs what he thinks is a recommendation. If we are on a tight budget, we tell him what we are able to spend and he ALWAYS works with us. Yesterday, we had to face the sadder side of things and put our 18 year old lab/GSD to rest. But if it wasn’t for Dr. Livingston, we wouldn’t have had the last 10 months with her. She had tumors on her eyelid and he operated on her, despite her age, to save her. And he did. She recovered beautifully and he gave her great after care. Again, explaining everything to us transparently. He definitely helped us give her a few extra months. Yesterday was no different. He came in. Spoke to us. Explained everything thoroughly. Then he helped us put our baby to rest. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Livingston and the care he gives our babies.

A practice that truly cares! One of my neighbors recommended Acoma after having a bad experience at my last vet. Dr.Livingston truly cares about the overall health and wellbeing of my service dog in training. He has an individual approach, very patient and takes the time to explain and answers any question I have, and I ask a lot of them. His staff is amazing to, the entire practice has great gentle bedside manner that make it feel more of a friendly experience and not like she's just another one of their patients. One of the things that stood out for me was that they are not just opportunists after your money without caring about the wellbeing of your dog, like the last vet I took her to. At Acoma they do things when they are necessary and make sure you have a good understanding of what's going on.
Edit: I'm also a rideshare driver after a recent ride, a couple bringing a cat to the vet I used to go to, they mentioned having the same issues I experienced, I immediately recommended acoma, I truly couldn't recommend this vet enough.

First time here. Called ahead by an hour to say I'd be running a few minutes late to be basically told very abruptly by Stacie, the receptionist, that they had double booked and I "wouldn't" not "couldn't" be given another time. The journey took me almost 2.5hrs and I chose this vet on purpose. Was not happy being spoken to like that after making a courtesy call to let them know. As it was, I was 8 minutes early but stood waiting to be checked in for 20!!! Stacie is definitely not someone I'd have representing my company. The vet was good though and extremely kind and calm with my old, stressed out lab. He's professional and courteous. His tech, Christine was also very sweet and kind with my dog when completing the initial temperature etc.
