New to Vail AZ and thought I’d try this hair salon that’s close to our house. Read the reviews and gathered that they might lack knowledge with hair color, that’s what most of the low ratings come from. So I decided to call and express my worries and asked to be scheduled with a specialist in color and not just anyone available. They booked me with Kristal. She was very nice but had to color my roots twice to match my hair color (dark brown) at first my roots were colored lighter than my hair. So I had to stay an extra hour to get it fixed. She only blow dryed my hair rather than straighten it (which is what I asked for) and I’m assuming it’s because of the client she had waiting. I came out with black hair dye all over my neck and face. Spoke to the manager to express my concerns and she said she wasn’t there but it could have been a consultation miscommunication and appreciated the feedback….. overall not pleased with my experience or how they handled my concerns. Will continue looking for a good hair salon with experience in hair color.

They were awesome! Really took their time addressing my hair concerns and making sure they knew exactly what I wanted before we even got started. Super friendly staff. Clean. Loved my new hair cut/color!

I popped in last minute hoping to get a haircut as a walk in. As soon as I walked in I felt very welcome. They were very accommodating and kind. They were also able to fit me in. I was seen by Cheyenne. She did an amazing job with my cut. She listened and did exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be back to see her! I am very happy overall with my visit.

Definitely the only place I will go from here on out! Very friendly and patient staff, got me in right away and really turned my hair into everything I wanted. Very cute nicely kept salon and made me feel so much better about myself. Thank you for everything!

I have finally found my hair stylist here in Tucson. About Me is such a clean, fun, and relaxing Salon. Ashley was fantastic, by far the best haircut I’ve had in over 10 years. She took her time and made sure it was exactly what I wanted, it’s perfect. I can’t wait to go back and see her again. Everyone go to About Me in Vail and go see Ashley!
