Today was our first visit with Dr. Mary Ubatuba at Abbeywood but I cannot recommend her enough. My 14-year-old cat Baron suddenly displayed a concerning mark on his nose. He has had a lung tumor for two years so I feared the worst. We were in need of a new primary physician and Dr. Mary came highly recommended. When I called late Thursday afternoon they were able to get me in first thing Monday.

I immediately felt at ease upon arrival. The entire staff is compassionate and caring. Dr. Mary is not only brilliant but has an incredible bedside manner. She walked us through each step and explained the cost of each test before moving forward (which I greatly appreciated). Her examination of my cat was gentle but thorough and he was completely at ease.

I’m so glad we found Dr. Mary and Abbeywood. I know that my cat now has an excellent team who will provide him with the best care possible.

Thankful to have found our new permanent vets after moving into the area! Everyone (from the front desk, to the vet tech, to Dr. Johnston) was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. When calling to schedule the appointment they were extremely accommodating and getting our pets information from our prior vets was handled seamlessly. Dr Johnston was super gentle and even our normally-skittish cat was calm with him. He took his time thoroughly answering all of our questions and it was overall the best vet experience we’ve had. Dr. Johnston, Mikayla, and staff were amazing with my cat, super friendly, and I didn’t feel rushed, as they answered all my many questions, and with great explanations/advice. Got my cat quickly feeling better! Much better service than other local vets around the area. THANK YOU!!

I really appreciate the care taken during my cat's surgery. The stitches are very neat, and he’s feeling great. We returned for a follow-up a week later and received excellent aftercare advice. Thank you to this place! I’ll definitely come back here with my second cat.

This office is absolutely the best. I’ve been bringing my big boy here for 5 years and couldn’t be happier and more grateful for all of them. The staff is more than amazing. Everyone in the building is devoted and knowledgeable, and very caring. The staff is happy, personable and very friendly and they’re always quick to jump, any time I have any issue they address it promptly. I always leave feeling reassured and know my cat is getting the best care. The office is quiet, peaceful and clean. I highly recommend their office to anyone with cats. I’m so grateful for the staff and that I was able to find such great care for cat.

Abbey-wood Cat Hospital is a wonderful place my kitten was very sick when I first got him. I saw other vets and nobody could get to the bottom of why he was so sick. Doctor was very knowledgeable she knew exactly what type of special testing he needed. My kitten is definitely back on track and feeling better. Thank you to the Dr. Ubatuba for getting my Miles back healthy.

Nice staff, and great personable vet. Seemed very knowledgeable, and was able to get us sorted out. Prices for the initial visit are affordable, but I felt some of the services beyond that were a little expensive compared to what I have paid previously add other vets
