Please let me make this very clear; you will NEVER NEVER NEVERRRR find an amazing groomer like Mr. Alvaro and his employees. His work is excellent, he is very accommodating, has outstanding communication skills and he listens. In addition, his prices are the best you will find anywhere. He answers all questions and even educates and teaches his clients if they have questions about grooming. He is also super fast. My dog has never spent more than 2 hours there. It broke my heart when I had to move because there is simply no comparison.

We’ve brought our Bernedoodle here for the past year. They do a great job, the pieces are reasonable, and she loves going! She always thrilled and happy when we leave her and pick her up and comes back looking and smelling great. Highly recommend!

I just took in my cat for his first grooming experience. He has been on crate rest up until a few weeks ago from an injury and compiled a bunch of grime that brushing wouldn’t get out. A&B Scissor Hands was so gentle with him and did a great job. His fur has never looked better. I also really appreciate that they only book cat appointments before the dogs start coming in early in the morning so there isn’t any stressful barking to make them nervous. I would highly recommend them to any cat owner! I had a great experience and customer service was fantastic! Very kind people.

I’ve been taking my dog here for years. Al is so kind and clearly treats the animals with love and gentleness. He has reasonable prices and he even offers to bring my dog to my car when I have the baby with me. My dog always looks and smells so good! You won’t find a better groomer.

It was our first time here and we love the results! The first picture is before his grooming. The second through fourth pictures are the end result. We loved how Al was able to do the cut and styling that was exactly like the picture we showed him. His fur is so smooth and soft! We also were happy to see how calm our puppy was when we picked him up after his groom. The staff and place were great at keeping our puppy calm during the process and limiting stress on him. We will definitely be back for his future grooms!

I've gone here for the last 2 years and always trust Al to do a great job. And I know Monroe hates having her face washed or cut so the fact that she always looks so cute and symmetrical is amazing. Would highly recommend, he's great at communicating and always makes Monroe look great

We recently moved to Champaign for school from the East Coast, so we had to leave my former (but amazing) dog groomer. I was worried that I would struggle to find someone that did a great groom, but let me tell you, A&B groomers did an AMAZING job with my dog. My dog is super co-dependent, so he always hates going to the groomers-- I wouldn't say he's "bad" but he does a lot of whining. Despite all of that, Al (the groomer) did everything, from cutting his nails to providing a great cut. He looks amazing.

Additionally, if the actual service couldn't have gotten better, the prices are very competitive (good/reasonable) and tailored to your dog and their needs. They do only accept Cash, Check, or Zelle, but I don't mind.

I highly recommend this groomer, you won't regret going!
