I walked into this emergency center on the recommendation of our regular vet, when our cat got fishing line all tangled up in her teeth and gums. The facility is very clean, the staff were reassuring and tended to her immediately. Thanks to the skill of Dr Lavoie, our cat’s procedure went smoothly and she is fine now. I am so thankful that they were there when we had an emergency need, and can definitely recommend this center.

They helped us handle a 12 year cat passing suddenly with the same compassion they cared for our newborn kitten who was sick. Tremendous care and highly invested staff. I am so grateful for this emergency center. They obviously care deeply for the well being of the animals they care for, and they care just as deeply for the owners. They followed up in both scenarios, and I'm very thankful in both cases.

The facility was spotless. It was calm and quiet. The doctor saw me in a timely manner. He was extraordinarily nice And very understanding of dogs that are terrified of the vet. He spent an ample amount of time with me describing all of the different options of care for a seven year old boxer with either an ACL tear or hip/knee problems. He was very knowledgeable and definitely a specialist who would want to go. See if you have any questions.

Expensive but saved my dog's life.

My toy poodle had gastritis, was coughing up blood, and basically at death's door. A few other places turned him away, even places with "emergency services" and "hospital" in the name, because he wasn't a regular customer. This place took him right away, with a sense of urgency, no questions asked, and pumped him full of antibiotics and fluids via IV which revived him pretty quickly.

Thank you for saving my dog's life!

Unfortunately the news we were delivered about our dog was heartbreaking. However, the staff did a great job treating our pup as well as us. They were very compassionate and professional. The issues was explained in detail, we were presented with options and details to each one. There was no pressure on which way to proceed and they sat with us to answer all our questions. The staff did everything they could to make us and our pup as comfortable as possible.

I recently brought my dog in who was feeling very lethargic the other day without an appointment and an hour before closing. One of the women in front desk was very welcoming and told me no problem that they’d be able to take care of my dog today. I waited for approx. 45 minutes to be told that they cannot take anymore patients anymore. On top that, the other receptionist Jackie was very rude and abrupt with me as clearly I was frustrated waiting 45 mins while my dog is in pain and I could have took that time to take him elsewhere. I would not recommend at all and would never come back here.

Dr. Lesham did surgery on one of my dogs right after Covid. Was very nice, got her in when needed. However, a couple years ago my Great Dane collapsed. I called their office and they said they wouldn’t be able to see me, I would need to go elsewhere. I had to drive her over an hour away instead of the 20 minute drive to Canton. 2 months ago my golden retriever had 2 seizures. I called them on a Sunday night around 4 to make sure he would be able to be seen. I was told no, I needed to go elsewhere. They closed at 8. I truly believe they didn’t want anymore animals to come in since they closed in a couple hours. Seizures are high priority when it comes to triage. We had to go an hour away to another emergency vets office and he was taken right in.

You would think when you bring your sick cat there and you find out the worst news. They wouldn’t be so money hungry! I do understand that they are an emergency veterinary but when you have to put down your cat. Who is only 4 years old due to heart failure. When you ask over and over for a paw print you would get it. I reminded them numerous times. I always got the answer yes of course no problem. Evidently they lied and it was a problem. We just buried my little baby and I have NO paw print. Maybe next time I’ll tell them yeah no problem I’ll pay just like they said no problem about paw print. Be cautious and leery when bringing your animals here. They tend to tell you lies and are only concerned about $$$$!!!! I’m appalled by there lack of remorse or concern!!! I only wanted a paw print of my little baby.
