I wish I could give this hospital a 10 star review. Such an amazing team. We arrived very late night with our new pup, she had a cough and we were so concerned. While we were unaware that it was appointment only, they still made sure we were seen and sent us home with medication for her cough, and were so gentle are caring to our girl. You can tell this staff truly loves what they do, and genuinely cares about your pets. Wish it was closer because we would keep them as a primary. Thank you Bolton Vet Team!

I have been going to Bolton vet now for several years my two dogs. Recently, my older dogs who has been by my side for 16 years started to fail and it became apparent that she had to be put down. Over the two weeks before she died, I saw four different vets at Bolton. Each one was as kind, compassionate and informative as the other. When I finally had to put her down, they were incredibly kind and my dog passed very peacefully on the little knoll next to their office. Amazing vets, techs and staff. Thank you to an incredible group of professionals!

We tragically had to put our cat down in the middle of the night/morning recently. Bolton Vet Hospital was extremely helpful and calm on the phone to help and advise me on coming in while we were in a frenzy. They were extremely kind and informative in their care and walking me through the process of putting our lovely boy to sleep. Very grateful for their compassion and professionalism in a difficult time.

Our cat licked Lilly’s flowers. We called places within 20 miles for emergency treatment. We were welcomed by Bolton animal hospital. Cat was taken in immediately. Professional front desk staff briefed us about all the treatment and estimated bills. Doctors did great job. Cat is fine.
We will highly recommend Bolton animal hospital for treatment of pets and very reasonable charges, no ripoff at all
Simply the best

Called late at night when my dog was under the weather, got advice from the kindest woman who listened thoroughly to my entire situation, spoke with doctors and just generally helped me a lot. I ended up waiting until morning to take my dog to our regular vet but am incredibly grateful for the help Bolton Vet gave. Thank you!

*Bolton Veterinary Hospital wanted to kill my 10 week old puppy without following protocol per Animal Control’s guidelines, read further to find out more on my experience after nearly 44 years from childhood to adulthood being with this hospital is why going our SEPERATE ways IS FOR THE BEST.

On 2/7/24 BVH* confirmed my service animals Spay appointment was scheduled and Heather (one of the supervisors) informed me that everything was all set and to pick up my service animals medicine in advance of her procedure on 3/15/24.

What happened next and prior is a series of events that would startle, scare and make a pet owner think twice about going to BVH.

I spoke with Heather at the beginning of February 24’ because it took 45 days to obtain a rescheduled appointment from their surgical center for my service animal’s Spay appointment. I let Heather know it was important I have this finalized since I was having a major operation on 2/28/24 and Heather said ‘You are all set’. What happened next is a visual of BVH poor communication skills and animal patient care.

On 2/26/24 I received notification that my service animal’s Spay appointment was cancelled, when I called for clarification, no one would respond or discuss. Insert anxiety because I already made arrangements to have someone take my service animal to her Spay appointment while I recovered from my operation.

After this happened, it reminded me that I should have discontinued my service animals care with Bolton Veterinary Hospital after animal control in April 2023, said this BVH failed to follow protocol when they said my 10 week old puppy would be killed if she was in the backyard where a raccoon had been.

I took my puppy and two other dogs to BVH in April 23’ to get their rabies vaccination as preventative care when a raccoon was in our backyard however when the BVH’s veterinarian said that, you can imagine the emotional trauma that never leaves you knowing an animal doctor is heartless enough to even suggest KILLING a 10 week old animal.

The fact BVH takes no responsibility for their less than sub par patient care or communication to cancel an appointment abruptly knowing in advance, that I needed to ensure everything was all set.

Plus telling me I may have to involuntarily kill my puppy because it was around a raccoon that may or may not have been rabid? That is enough reason to stay away from this hospital!

The plethora of GI medicines they kept giving my service animal and telling me to continue to feed her Victors after they knew of the Salmonella issues.

I now see this worked out for the better and my service animal is in much better care with a new Veterinary hospital.

The positive is I have a beautiful 14 month old service animal (that I did not kill because of a heartless), ignorant veterinarian at BVH. AVOID BVH for their LACK of Pro Life and customer patient care centric.
