I went here years ago because my cockatiel Mochi got stuck in one of my dad’s mouse glue traps. He developed a horrible skin rash that was yellow and flaky and he lost a lot of weight and energy. I took him to this vet and they saved my birds life he is now a happy spicy cockatiel. I also had my other cockatiel nunu (mochi daughter) taken here because she was twisting her neck like an owl and it not normal for cockatiels to do that. They also saved her life and she hasn’t been acting weird ever since. I highly recommend this place to people who have small pets such as birds this hospital will be my forever vet for my cockatiels.

I started coming here a few years ago for my ferret. He had many medical issues but KBAH gave him the best quality of life he could have. When it was time for him to go to sleep, staff were kind and compassionate. Now I come here for my dog. All staff are so nice and knowledgeable!

We love (and our animals) Kensington! Dr Sinclair is amazing, and so knowledgeable. I have brought my tortoise Toto to them for some serious health issues, and they have helped us every step of the way and he’s a healthy boy now.

We also had some complications at other vets, and they were able to figure out what was going on with our guinea pig Cinnamon with just a few tests. Exotics are treated wonderfully here! ?

I give Kensington Bird and Animal Hospital 5 stars not only because they are very good at what they do on a medical and technical level but the care, concern and animal-to-human connection is stellar. We have 2 cats, 2 dogs and our Birdy-friend, Princess Maxeenah. Our 16 year old Pionus Maximillian parrot has been seeing Dr. C. since she was 3 months old and we had a recent visit for a check up and Bella was the assist for Dr. C. I found Bella to be amazing with Maxigirl. You could see the utmost care during the visit. It warmed my heart to see the love. Truly the best. We recently had to bring our 16 year old mini poodle, Angelique, in for an emergency and we knew we would have to make a decision to send her over rainbow bridge. We took her in when Mom was sick and were lucky enough to have her for 3 years. Mr. & Mrs. Dr. Bloom are terrific and spent a long time answering all of my questions and concerns with our dogs and cats! The care by the front desk staff is always very, very good. They have always been super with all of my questions and making appointments. Very likeable and are pleasant and accommodating. I would give 1000 stars if I could. I would recommend Kensington Bird & Animal Hospital highly! My pets are my family and KBAH provides the best care!

I was referred to Kensington by my local exotic vet. I was nervous to go to a new veterinarian, but when I got there, the staff was very kind and open with me about information and pricing. I was never left wondering what the next steps would be. The vet and the vet techs were all very supportive and helped me through the stressful process of my bearded dragon going through a spay surgery due to follicular stasis. They even contacted me multiple days after the surgery to check in with me when I had concerns. Overall, it was a great experience and made an already very stressful event, a little easier.

I highly recommend Kensington! I have referred all my friends and family and I will not take my fur babies anywhere else. Dr.C is the best. She doesn’t rush and is 100% honest with you. All the techs are fantastic and kind. You can tell everyone there truly loves animals. They even do care for wildlife. Not many veterinarians do that. We have had small animals and birds in the past and have had our care for them done at Kensington as well. So look no further and go to Kensington for all your pets! Tell them Rosie sent you ?

I have been with KBAH for several years now as a cockatiel owner. I rescued Creswell five years ago and he is currently twelve years old. He boarded frequently this summer for 2-3 day stretches as I was involved with summer schooling my young relatives. I am a retired teacher. After filling out a 5-star review that was not on Google, I went online and began reading some of the reviews -- many were similar to mine while there were a few that I just couldn't believe were there.

KBAH saved my dear Creswell's life just a few months ago from a mysterious sickness. As I am proudly developing into "That Crazy Old Bird Lady", it goes without saying that I am seriously attached to my bird. I have had appointments with all of the bird doctors and adore every one of them. The boarding facility... well, I wouldn't have anyone else take care of my bird. I have also enjoyed all of the vet techs and reception professionals who have been kind and patient with me, especially since I kept changing boarding days and they understood that I was not in control of these changes. And let's not mention that everyone loves to talk about my pet with me. All bird enthusiasts.

Nothing less than stellar. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Whatever happened with those unhappy reviewers? Nothing more than outliers.
