These thoughts and opinions are my own.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Farmington Animal Hospital based on my experience with them from 2021 to 2024 while caring for my senior dog.
- They suggested switching to a Purina brand dog food, but the ingredients were lower quality and had undergone recalls.
- After one of his surgeries, my dog came out completely hysterical from anesthesia. We’ve since had him undergo surgery at another clinic, and he recovered so much better. It left me wondering if it was a case of over-administration or user error.
- The front desk staff was often disorganized - make sure your blood test coincides with available surgery appointments before paying.

I cannot say enough positive things about Farmington Animal Hospital. The care and compassion is outstanding. We have been with Dr Galbo for many years as she’s cared for our many cats and dog. She is unbelievably kind and knowledgeable. She truly cares about animals and their owners. We recently met Dr Dan when our dog, Ollie, became very sick. He and his staff went above and beyond to take care of our sweet Ollie. I will be forever grateful to them.

They are lovely with our cat Gus and treat him and us very well! I have an anxious disposition and they always let me call and ask questions and respond with kindness. Gus loves them too (: their back rooms have a view of some birdfeeders too which seemed like a 10/5 star rating to Gus.

Can't say enough positive things about this practice! I've been with FAH for years since switching from a larger practice with lots of rotating doctors. They have cared for three of my cats, two of whom had significant medical issues, and three of my dogs. Dr. Dan, Dr. Galbo, and Dr. Bates in particular have all provided remarkably compassionate care to my pups and kittens - going above and beyond to accommodate our special needs with high anxiety, medical issues, etc. The reception team is A+ and pricing is totally reasonable, especially compared to other places around the area. I am unfortunately moving out of state and only hope that I can find a vet this attentive and accommodating in my new state!

My sweet cat, who is a rescue from St Thomas, needed to have oral surgery. Needless to say I was very concerned as the surgery requires anesthesia in addition to the tooth extraction itself. It was my first experience with a pet having surgery of any kind. Everything went well and my cat didn’t exhibit any issues after surgery. I was very relieved and so happy we were at Farmington Animal Hospital. They were fantastic.

I can’t say enough good things about this veterinary practice. My sweet, anxious boy Banner started seeing Dr. Barnes and her fabulous vet techs a few months ago. He had previously seen vets that required him to be muzzled and practically sedated prior to coming in for an exam or test. These days, thanks to the kind, caring patience and compassion from Dr. Bates and her staff, my boy can go to a vet who he is no longer afraid of. Fear free practice is no joke! You will not regret taking your fur baby here, just ask Banner ?

FAH is an excellent practice with a personal, patient-centric feel. Dr. Galbo has cared for our cat for many years; she has top-notch clinical skills and judgment, and we trust her completely. The doctors back each other up seamlessly. The techs are wonderful. Even when they are busy they take the time to listen to us, to explain things or to help our high-strung cat calm down. Five gold stars for this practice—with no reservations whatsoever.
