I highly recommend Northgate Animal Hospital. Dr. Bush has been caring for my geriatric Cavalier King Charles spaniel. He correctly diagnosed her heart condition, and a year later, her kidney disfunction. Although he is very busy, Dr. Bush takes time with each patient. He called me on several occasions to explain test results. His techs are also very patient and understanding. Even the receptionist is cheerful and friendly! Whenever I called with an urgent need, they were able to fit me into the schedule. I cannot thank them enough for the care that they gave my precious dog.

I'm not sure what rating to give... We have been clients of Dr. Bush for almost 5 years with two dogs and a cat. One dog and cat recently passed away. We got a new puppy that needed to be seen in 72 hours to keep the health guarantee (important for joint issues - these are crazy expensive if this happens) and they were not able to accommodate us. I suppose that speaks to how good they are. But the lady who answered the phone was completely uninterested in helping us even after I explained the situation. When we called back, spoke to a male vet tech who said they could see us but I’d either have to leave my puppy there all day or if I wanted to see a vet tech in person it would cost an extra $150 emergency fee. I declined. The tech then left a message not 5 minutes later saying they had an appointment the next day. The $150 fee was surprising and I wondered if Dr. Bush was aware his staff was doing that. I think Dr. Bush may be stepping back with Dr. Leon taking more of the day to day appointments. So perhaps that’s what happened.regardless, the experience was disappointing and we won’t be back.

If you are looking for the finest, best veterinarians in Colorado Springs, Colorado look no further because this practice is the very best for certain! This is the greatest experience that I have ever had with any of my pets in years! I thank God for directing me to this practice. The care from Dr. Bush and Dr. Leon is superior! They truly care about you and your pets! They are intelligent, wise, caring, honest, loving, kind, genuine, and so is their staff! They do not try to take advantage of their patients financially either! I am so grateful that they are in practice! Be good to yourself and your pets and run to this doctor’s office for the best possible care you could give your precious little ones! You will be so thankful that you did!

Our recent visit to Northgate for our three large dogs' annual vaccines/exams and subsequent procedures was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

First, they got us in for an appointment very quickly, especially for a new client. When we got there, the entire atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The techs and vet were all very kind and patient, especially with one of our dogs who can be quite a handful.

Two of our dogs underwent procedures—a spay and gastroplexy. We move/travel often and have specifically waited to do these two large procedures until we found a vet we were 100% confident with. The minimally invasive methods employed by Northgate were nothing short of incredible. The incisions were very small and they healed remarkably quickly compared to our other female who had the same procedures done at another vet 2 years ago.

The care, compassion, and attention to detail exhibited by the entire staff truly set Northgate apart. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional care—both one-time/passing through and regular/long-term.

Highly recommend Dr. Bush and his staff! We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a rotation of foster dogs, all of which we consider our babies, and everyone at Northgate Animal treats them as such with a level of attention, compassion, and understanding I haven't found anywhere else. Very impressed with the communication whether it's calling the next day to check on a sick pup or going over lab work. They are receptive to emergencies and help as much as possible over the phone or with a same day appointment. I just can't say enough nice things about Dr. Bush and his practice--again highly recommend!
