A little over a week ago I had to put my best friend in the whole world of 14 years down. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. They handled it with such care and such love. They gave me us much time as I needed with him and when it was time Celeste was there to give him love and show comfort to me a complete stranger. It what was the worst night of my life to date, Dr Lynn and Celeste gave us peace, compassion, and eased our anxieties genuinely. I truly appreciate The team at west ridge. Thank you from the Andersens and Zazu

Horrific. I made an appt here for my dog when he started vomiting multiple times a week and was becoming more lethargic. Also, he had been diagnosed with Cushing's several months ago and reacted very poorly to 2 adrenal-necratizing medications (and multiple dosages). I decided, rather than risk brain surgery or other more dangerous medications (the kind that could kill your dog overnight and require overnight vet surveillance), that I would follow my vets advice and go with alternative medicine, so when this new problem arose a month after stopping the meds, I booked with West Ridge instead hoping to address both issues.

When I made the appointment here, I mentioned this. When I filled out the paperwork before the appointment I mentioned this. When I got there for the appt, I waited 45 minutes past our appt time, and mentioned this. The tech was busy pumping him full of treats. When the vet came in, she gave me a printout from the internet about Cushing's, said she didn't know anything about Cushing's, they don't do alternative medicine, and talked down to me saying I was "at the wrong office for that". She wanted to give me the same meds my last vet did and questioned me when I listed the issues those meds caused.

They had all of his paperwork from my previous vet showing what tests were done with notes about his reactions to the two medications that we tried. They obviously didn't bother to read any of it. Nobody told me the vet here only dealt in prescribed medications. I agreed to a basic senior blood panel (one that doesn't require fasting since they fed him tons of cheese and treats), because of the lethargy and throwing up (I had to explain the difference between the regurgitation he experienced on the meds and the vomiting he had recently started) and I was worried about his kidneys, liver, and pancreas.. that his vomiting and increasing lethargy may be unrelated to cushings.. but they kept talking about Cushing's and then would switch to organ failure without saying so (I only know because of my experience with my regular vet and had to ask for clarification on what Dr Lin was talking about multiple times)

There was no exam at all, she just talked at me and didn't even touch my dog or look at him. He never went on the table. They took him back for blood work and then tried to charge me double for the exam. They also told me they'd have results the next day.

3 days later, no call. I called twice, the first guy was quite rude like how dare I bother them when the dr is dealing with an emergency, she'll call at the end of the day (this was at 4:40pm), and I called back to ask them to email me the results.

Finally, the vet called at 9:30 at night, said "um uh" more than anything else, suggested another ultrasound and then said it wouldn't be used to diagnose anything, said she'd recommend a low fat diet if it's pancreatitis (but she can't diagnose it), and when I told her I had started home cooking for him and checked the ingredients, said she only knows about canned prescription diets, and that I can bring him in for an emergency tomorrow... Which took me aback. I asked if she felt that was necessary and she literally said "I don't know that's up to you".

Like excuse me? I'm not the doctor here. Absolutely terrible. I should have known to stay away when they wanted to charge $90 just to make the appt but I called and was told they did alternative medicine and that's hard to find. My dog is now retired from service, but we've been inseparable for 12 years. I would do *anything* for him. How dare they talk down to me about the plan D care plan I've been forced to take after the traditional meds caused worse inflammation issues. Dr. Lin must know something about something, but she clearly doesn't know anything about senior dog health or bedside manner with their owners.

Came to West Ridge because my dog was in respiratory failure and the emergency vet didn’t give me any sustainable options. I had use a different vet for 13 years they were so kind to both my sweet girl at the end of her life and very kind to me as well. I decided to switch my other dogs care to West Ridge because of the amazing care I got in a horrible situation. They diagnosed my other dog with anal gland cancer shortly after this and they helped him be as comfortable as possible through the end of his life. They take really good care of my dog that I have now. I would recommend them to everyone and I do recommend them to a lot of people

I was out of town and my dog sitter was taking very good care of Barbie, However, Barbie tore her Duke claw and was experiencing lots of pain and bleeding. I had just moved up to Greeley so I didn’t have a veterinarian yet. WRAC saw her right away provided excellent care and communicstion! I was surprised at how reasonable the fee was. So Happy to find a wonderful veterinarian up north!

My cat, Puck, was seen on short notice by the urgent care at West Ridge Animal Hospital. He was acting unusual, vomiting, and not eating. The staff were so incredibly kind and thorough, especially when they found he had a heart murmur and a mass and intestine thickening in his abdomen. They answered all my questions; were very levelheaded, even though I knew one possible explanations was cancer; and were conscientious of my budget too! I opted for all the tests they recommended just to make sure my little goblin was as healthy as possible. They treated him so gently and kindly, especially since he is such a nervous cat. I only wish I didn't plan to move further west next year. But even then, I'll probably still drive my cats the 30-40 minutes to West Ridge. I want this place to be "my vet" forever.

We took our puppy in for a first visit. The appointment was on time, the vet took his time to explain answers to all our questions and explain what to expect with future visits. The tech let us know what treatments would cost before they were done. We were happy with our experience. Everyone treated our puppy, Panda, like they would was their own.

Dr. Noto was extremely professional, helpful, kind, and went out of his way to make sure my pet rabbit, Henry, got every single option of care. Unfortunately it was time to say goodbye, but everyone at the clinic was there for me through the whole ordeal. As an exotic pet owner i would recommend these folks to anyone and everyone. Thank you for all the work you do Westridge
