Great experience! Knowledgeable staff and vets! One of our dogs has behavioral issues and they are always willing to accommodate our special needs during the visit. It’s not always easy when you are the person with “that dog,” but we feel accepted and comfortable bringing our pet(s) to Woodmoor. 🙂

We have been clients of Woodmoor Vet for 16 years and seen a lot of changes - some positive, some not so much. But! The reason we stay there is because Dr. Lianne Baker is a true gem. She is beyond thorough and explores every avenue to help animals without running up the bill needlessly.
Over the past 18+ months one of my dogs began losing hair, then muscle tone. Another vet wrote it off as allergies. It was not. I made sure we only saw Dr. Baker from then on and she was amazing, often calling me after hours to discuss her research, lab findings, and just to generally check in. Tests ultimately confirmed that my dog had Cushing’s but by that point his quality of life had deteriorated so significantly, I made the heartbreaking decision to let him go. Shelly, Kaylie and Dr. Baker made what is a horrible experience as good as it could be and I am forever grateful to have such wonderfully caring and empathic professionals I can count on to care for my pups as if they are their own.

We have been bringing our fur babies here for over 13 years now. Our latest addition, Gucci, the frenchie, has needed a little extra tlc and has been very well cared for here. Shelly, the front desk, has been amazing! She is caring, responsive and knowledgeable! But really all of the veterinarians and staff are wonderful! I highly recommend Woodmoor Vet for all your furry family members needs!

I 100% recommend this vet over any of the vets in this area. If I have any concerns they always find a way to get my animal seen same day or next day. I make the 30-40 minute drive depending on drive from Fort Carson! The vets at facility are so kind hearted and do what they can to help my animals with their concerns.

Very good experience. Dr Ivy was very informative, caring, gentle with my timid/scared dog and attentive even as an emergency came in. The same is true of the vet tech and front desk staff. Thank you for your care!!

Our boxer-mix Cali had a rough start to life, but our veterinarian at Woodmoor Vet Hospital & Pet Lodge understands that. Every time we come, he enters the room and sits on the floor, letting Cali come to him. She distrusts men in general, but bit by bit, she remembers that Dr. Homme is one of the good guys. By the end of the visit, whatever the reason, she has maneuvered herself into his lap, letting him examine her, administer shots, and (always) tell her that she's a good girl. Thank you, Dr. Homme, for caring enough to give Cali time to feel confident with you.
