We are very grateful to all the staff of El Gato Veterinary Hospital for providing our cats with fast and efficient service and quality professional treatment. If I'd known El Gato Veterinary Hospital earlier we wouldn't have had the terrible experience we had at SAGE Veterinary Centers - Campbell two months ago where we had to wait 11 hours for our cat to be able to go home , he got bitten in a fight with another cat, More than 700 dollars was spent but our cat was not treated effectively.
This time El Gato Veterinary Hospital cured our cat and at a cost of a little over $100 .And we were there for less than 30 minutes .
El Gato Veterinary Hospital is highly recommended.

Hello-I have been receiving services from El Gato Veterinary Hospital for many years. I consider the excellent staff- Dr Bibb, Kathryn, Heather and all the support staff to be like family. They have treated me and my pets with wonderful care, thoughtfulness and respect, including re: my beloved Border Collie- Budge Jr, who passed to dog heaven 4 years ago with such understanding and compassion. Recently 4 year old, Valykerie- Italian Greyhound mix was given to me by my son due to allegeries. Dr Bibb arranged for a special veterinary dermatologist from Southern CA to help with Valykerie’s challenging health issues and after testing she is now on immunotherapy daily spray and doing well. I am very grateful to have the support and wealth of experience of Dr Bibb and her staff. It makes a world of difference to be treated well and cared about by this exceptional veterinary staff.

I bring my pup to El Gato and am very happy with the service I receive. Dr Bibb’s insight and knowledge is impressive and I thoroughly trust her. The whole staff has gone above and beyond in their care for my pet over the years and that’s why I keep returning and reaching out to them for support. These are trying times for all small businesses and I think it’s incredibly hard to stay afloat and continue to give outstanding care to each and every patient. Have been bringing my pets (and strays!) for services for as long as I can remember (30 years?). Never had a bad experience and our pets have always and continue to thrive under their care. They are always professional, caring, thorough and respect your time (rare to have a wait!). They obviously love our animals and treat them as if they were their own.

We've been bringing our pets to El Gato since 1987, and have always valued their friendly, professional service. Dr, Bibb and staff have given each of our cats, rats and Vizsla the best of care, and helped us navigate option as illness and old age made their inevitable appearances. Their excitement over a new pet was only exceeded by their kindness and compassion as we had to move to palliative treatments. Office time was never rushed, and follow-up phone calls provided great guidance. A recent visit with our 4YO cat reminded me again why El Gato is still the best. Even with COVID restrictions, the friendly parking lot pickup of cat in carrier, car window cc payment, and a follow up (masked) conversation with Dr. Bibb left me feeling like something was still right in the world.

I’ve been talking our 2 cats and dog to El Gato and Dr Bibb for several years now. El Gato is unique in my view as it is owned by Dr Bibb and not a corporation. All of the staff and Dr Bibb herself take excellent care of our animals. We have an elderly dog and Dr Bibb has never pushed anything on us i felt was not reasonable. In addition she has also helped us navigate some tough decisions with our dog which all have proven to be correct. We love El Gato and Dr Bibb. We have been pet owners for 50 years. El Gato has been the best. It’s not a large vet office so prepare yourself for some commotion and activity. But the staff manages it all great. Dr Bibb is our vet from here on out
