This is an amazing veterinary practice. The veterinarian I saw, Dr. Richards--a U. C. Davis Veterinary School graduate, was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. I was impressed from the moment I walked into this clean and well-run facility. The staff was polite and caring. My wait time was short, and Dr. Richards took her time to examine my dog and discuss his condition and the plan of action for treating him. Tucker has issues with skin infections likely due to allergies. I know Dr. Richards will determine the root cause after we get his infections cleared up.

If you live in the area, it is well worth your while to take your pet to this clinic. It is my understanding that they are fairly new to the area, and it's taken a little time to get the right staff in place. If you've been there before, you really should go back and give them a second chance. I predict that pretty soon, this practice will be full.

Our experience with Goldorado Animal Hospital was amazing. This was our first visit with our 7 yr old Dachshund and they treated her and us like gold. Our regular vet wanted to make us wait for several days before seeing our little girl for a back issue. She was in severe pain and needed treatment as soon as possible and allowing her to suffer for several days was out of the question. We called Golodorado Animal Hospital and they were extremely friendly, compassionate and responsive. They got us in the same day and were able to take care of our sweet dachshund with minimal stress. They, like all other vet facilities, are working under new procedures with the Covid-19 issues, but they have the whole process down to a science and a well oiled machine. We are extremely pleased with Goldorado Animal Hospital and will return if needed. We will also freely express to our friends and family to do the same with their precious family pets.

I took my 8 month old female cat in for a checkup to be spayed. I was told spaying costs start a $300 dollars. After the $75 exam they gave me a quote for spaying over $1100. I feel this was bait and switch will not go back.

I take all 3 of my cats to Goldorado and have always had a positive experience! From routine check-ups, to blood and dental work, everyone is friendly, helpful, and extremely kind/gentle with our cats. Their app makes it easy keep track of our cats' medical history and appointments. Plus, the lobby and offices are clean and well-maintained. I'm really happy to have found such an amazing team to take care of our fur babies 🙂

Dr. Norton was exceptional. You can’t ask for a kinder and more experienced veterinarian. The receptionist was kind and very helpful also. I was very pleased in the way my pet and I were treated and will continue to make Goldorado the place I go to for pet care.

Completely overpriced. Take advantage of pet owners love for their animals. Try to upsell you into many things that are unnecessary. Charge for things they don't explain upfront. Much better and honest vet options in our area. Last time we will ever take our animals to this vet. Wife was in tears leaving this place. Threatened to hold our pet if we didn't pay. Vet herself told us after doing xrays Tuesday to bring pet back Wednesday for further xrays. We wouldnt have to pay a second time but then charged again. $1100 dollars and all we needed was an allergy shot for our dog. Then if we didn't pay they would hold dog and charge more boarding fees. Such a scam. Steer clear of this money hungry place so you too don't get scammed into shelling out excessive money for things your pet doesn't need.

We thank you enough for always going above and beyond when it comes to our fur babies. 10 is not a high enough number for our level of satisfaction. We recommend all of you always.
