Le doy una estrella porque no le puedo poner menos, pero no lo recomiendo, pues lleve a mi mascota y me la entregaron diciéndome un diagnostico equivocado, llame para decirles que el antibiótico lo ponía más mal y dijeron que no podían hacer nada,que se lo siguiera dando, lo lleve a otro hospital y lo primero que le quitaron fue el antibiótico, porque le estaba dañando su estómago, y aparte quise llevarlo otra vez y me dijeron que solo me lo podían atender dentro de 2 semanas...o sea muerete!muérete!! Y aparte en el otro hospital me dieron un diagnostico diferente que ellos y salio muy diferente de ese hospital, salio de ahí con más energia! Pero eso sí lo que estuvo super bien fue el pago.....PERO PARA ELLOS!!

Based on my recent experience with a very sick dog, please do not take your pets to Insight Veterinary Wellness Center for anything except routine care. After my dog was hospitalized for urgent care, I received different and conflicting information/recommendations for my dog's health from different veterinarians and technicians. Staff also gave incorrect information about my dog's prescribed medications, including medication dosages that were previously given at the hospital, and when they were last administered. Better and consistent information might have saved my dog's life - Please do not bring your pets to this clinic.

Do not bring your pet here. I cannot believe the heartless vet (Dr. Nala I believe her name was) and her equally deplorable technician. They were very misleading about the costs and only discussed the actual total for care after I applied for CareCredit. So of course, I did not apply for the correct amount when I went to raise my credit limit I was denied. My dog was in “triage”, for hours we were waiting in the waiting room and they call us on the phone instead of just coming to get us and take us back to a room to discuss this very stressful and personal matter. Meanwhile, not providing any sort of medical help for our animal, nor giving us the option to go elsewhere and wasting precious time. Only cared about money. My options were to pay over $4,000.00, put my dog down, or surrender her. I am extremely disgusted with this clinic.

Insight Veterinary I see below you have responded. Why would I call you when we needed you the most you were a giant disappointment we have nothing further to discuss. Read the comment above. Clearly you cannot rectify the trauma you have already inflicted. You do not put animals first if you did you wouldn’t of wanted to euthanize an animal when it could be saved or take it away from the family that loves it. You would have given me the total cost of care when I applied for Care Credit so I would have applied for the correct amount. Instead, you played games and let my dogs suffer for hours. Well, you told me to go get lunch and did nothing to help my animal.

We were visiting out of town and our 4.5 year golden retriever got very sick, we brought him for emergency care and he was admitted with end stage renal failure. The team at Insight did an exceptional job at making sure our pup was taken care off during his admission. We was actually happy to go back to his kennel and get all the love from the team while he was there. Unfortunately our guy didn't make it very long afterwards, but it gives us peace he was loved on during his last few days. thank you!

I had to bring my kitty on a Sunday for an emergency visit. I live in Citrus Heights and every single place I called closer to my house had a minimum 3 hour wait. I called Insight and they said at the time it was an hour wait, which was fantastic bc I also had my 3 kids with me. The office is modern and very, very clean with a large waiting area. The office staff was very friendly and professional. Within 20 minutes of arriving, a tech came to the waiting area, asked me the important questions, and took my kitty to see the vet. The vet came out shortly, explained what was going on with her and the typical tests done for this, but since he had a good idea of what the problem was and it was a first for her, he suggested the least costly option which I very much appreciated. He had an amazing bedside manner and is clearly a cat person! I was so impressed with this place that I filled out the paperwork to become a patient there for all my cats (I have 4).

I wish this was 5 star because the vets and technicians are amazing ... But this could possibly be a 3 star review because the front office is fairly unethical.

I got a quote at like 1:00 am with my dog for treatment and a 48 hour stay. I was supposed to pick him up around 7:00 pm in two days.

Treatment went well, my dog was doing great and the vet called to tell me he would be ready for pickup the morning he was to be released. I got a call 45 minutes later from the front office saying, hey cool, but to get your dog this evening you'll have to pay about $500 more ... My dog was was doing great, no additional procedures were needed, but they were going to charge me to leave him to the remainder of the day (which was already in the quote).

Needless to say I got permission from work to pickup immediately. My dog is doing great, and I thank the wonderful veterinary staff for that. But be warned, the front office will try to milk you fo every penny you have and hold your animal hostage for it.

Everyone is so caring, and they have been happy to answer all of our questions and provide us with the information we need to raise a healthy, happy pup ?

Super thoughtful, informed care. They ask questions, explain things in plain language, and offer choices. Only wish human doctors were this good.
